Тип урока – урок изучения и первичного закрепления новых знаний

Задачи:

Личностные – формирование готовности обучающихся к осознанному выбору и построению дальнейшей индивидуальной траектории саморазвития на базе ориентировки в мире увлечений с учётом собственных интересов

Метапредметные – развивать умения определять понятия, устанавливать аналогии, строить логическое рассуждение, умозаключение и делать выводы; развивать умение преобразовывать схемы для решения учебных задач

Предметные – расширение лексического запаса, развитие слухо-произносительных навыков, навыков чтения, говорения по теме «Мир увлечений», развитие навыков орфографии.

Речевой материал – лексика по теме «Мир увлечений»

Грамматический материал – The Present Simple Tense, структуры I like to + V, I like Ving

Оборудование: УМК «Enjoy English» для 5 класса, компьютер, проектор, видеозапись песни “What do you like to do?”, презентация “Hobbies”, карточки с лексическими единицами.

Ход урока

Организация начала урока. Приветствие. Warming up.

Good morning, children! I am glad to see you. Let’s listen to the song and think over the question (указывает на доску, где записан вопрос) “What are we going to speak today about?”

Brainstorming.

What are you ideas? What are we going to speak about? You’re right. We’ll speak about hobbies and interests. What hobbies do you know? Good! Answer the questions: What is a hobby?  Choose the right variant. (Слайд №0).

A hobby is what people like to do when they have free time.

Изучение нового материала.

Let’s watch the presentation to get to know more hobbies of the people. (Во время показа дети повторяют новые слова и записывают их в тетради).

Слайд №1: Many people play football or hockey, swim or run very well. People like to go to the stadium or to the sports ground. Their hobby is doing sports.

Слайд №2: Some people like to dance. Sometimes they go to the special clubs or dance at home. They like to go to a disco. Their hobby is dancing.

Слайд №3: Some people enjoy planting flowers, growing fruits and vegetables. Their hobby is gardening.

Слайд №4: People like visiting different cities, towns, historical places and other countries. They travel by car, by plane, by train, by bus. Their hobby is travelling. But if people travel on foot their hobby is hiking.

Слайд №5: People like to listen to music, to play musical instruments and sing songs. Their hobby is listening to music, playing musical instruments, singing.

Слайд №6: People can collect stamps, coins, posters and other things. Their hobby is collecting.

Слайд №7: Many people like taking photos. Their hobby is photography.

Слайд №8: There are so many people who like drawing and painting. They use pencils and paints. Their hobby is drawing and painting.

Слайд №9: Many people like to spend their free time reading interesting books. They have a good collection of books at home. This hobby is very useful. It is reading.

Слайд №10: If people can cook many dishes and they like it, their hobby is cooking.

Фонетическая отработка лексики.

Слайд №11: Repeat after me: gardening, travelling, hiking, reading, dancing, collecting, painting, drawing, doing sport, listening to music, playing musical instruments, cooking, singing, photography.

Первичное закрепление знаний.
    People have different hobbies. What hobbies have you got to know? (Глядя на картинки, дети называют увлечения, используя записи в тетради). Translate into English: музыка – music, садоводство – gardening … and so on. Слайд №12: Unscramble the words (развитие навыков орфографии):
