Цель урока:

Развитие навыков устной речи, навыков диалогического и монологического высказывания.

Задачи урока:

Закрепить полученные знания, научить  использовать устойчивые выражения и лексический  материал  по теме в устной речи. Активизировать аудитивные и лексические навыки. Побуждать  познавательный интереса к стране изучаемого языка. Развивать  социо-культурную компетенцию. Воспитывать уважительное отношения к культуре страны изучаемого языка. Контроль знаний по теме.

T – Good morning, dear friends! I`m glad to see you.  Sit down, please. Let`s start our lesson.

T – I`ve got wonderful news for you. This is an invitation-letter from a girl Jessica. She invites us to visit her. But there’s one problem. I can`t understand the name of the country. Help me, please. Listen and tell the name of her country and the city we are going to visit? (видеозапись)

P1 – We are going to visit Great Britain.

P2 – We are going to visit London.

II. Знакомство учащихся с темой и задачами урока.

T – So, we are going to travel to London. What should we know how to pronounce words, to read, write, understand people around us and speak to them.

-So, the aim of our lesson: to prepare for traveling.

T – And, at the beginning let`s train our tongues and repeat some words. Listen and repeat.

T – There are different reasons for traveling to London. Try to name some of them.

And you, would you like to visit London? Why? P123……. As you see there are a lot of reasons to visit London. I`d like to invite you on a tour about London.

V. Активизация аудитивных и лексических навыков

1) T - I shall describe and show you the sights of London and you should guess what  is it.

It was a fortress, a prison and the king`s zoo. Now it is a museum. 12 black ravens live there.  (The Tower) There is a monument to Queen Victoria in front of this palace. British Kings and Queens live there when they are in London. (Buckingham Palace) There is a monument to Admiral Nelson in the middle of this square. (Trafalgar Square) It is not far from the Houses of Parliament. The coronation of all British Kings and Queens takes place there. ( Westminster Abbey) It`s a special place. It is the seat of the British Parliament. (The Houses of Parliament) It is one of the most famous bridges across the Thames. It opens and ships go up and down the River Thames. (The Tower of London)

2) T – And now, let`s cheek how you can understand another people. Ученики прослушиваю запись  и вписывают пропущенные слова в предложения упр.26, с.69 из учебника. Проверка данного упражнения осуществляется следующим образом: ученики по очереди зачитывают предложения и переводят пропущенные слова. (аудиозапись)

It was a big fruit and vegetable market. Now it is a tourist shopping centre with cafes and restaurants. It is the London home of the Queen. When the flag is on the top, she is at home. It isn't a circus, it is the meeting point of six streets. It is a royal church. Here you can see the tombs of many British Kings and Queens and other famous people. It was a fortress, a royal palace and later a prison. It is a museum now. On the column in the centre there is a statue of Admiral Nelson, who defeated the French at the battle in 1805. It is a royal park. There is the London Zoo. It is one of the biggest Zoos in the world.
