Цель урока:
- Развитие навыков устной речи, навыков диалогического и монологического высказывания.
Задачи урока:
- Закрепить полученные знания, научить использовать устойчивые выражения и лексический материал по теме в устной речи. Активизировать аудитивные и лексические навыки. Побуждать познавательный интереса к стране изучаемого языка. Развивать социо-культурную компетенцию. Воспитывать уважительное отношения к культуре страны изучаемого языка. Контроль знаний по теме.

T – I`ve got wonderful news for you. This is an invitation-letter from a girl Jessica. She invites us to visit her. But there’s one problem. I can`t understand the name of the country. Help me, please. Listen and tell the name of her country and the city we are going to visit? (видеозапись)

1) T - I shall describe and show you the sights of London and you should guess what is it.
It was a fortress, a prison and the king`s zoo. Now it is a museum. 12 black ravens live there. (The Tower) There is a monument to Queen Victoria in front of this palace. British Kings and Queens live there when they are in London. (Buckingham Palace) There is a monument to Admiral Nelson in the middle of this square. (Trafalgar Square) It is not far from the Houses of Parliament. The coronation of all British Kings and Queens takes place there. ( Westminster Abbey) It`s a special place. It is the seat of the British Parliament. (The Houses of Parliament) It is one of the most famous bridges across the Thames. It opens and ships go up and down the River Thames.
