Цели урока:
Социокультурный аспект – знакомство с праздниками США;
Развивающий аспект – развитие способности к анализу, к сравнению и сопоставлению, развитие способности формулировать грамматическое правило и к выявлению языковых закономерностей;
Воспитательный аспект – воспитание познавательных потребностей;
Учебный аспект – формирование грамматических навыков говорения, письма
Речевой материал:
Лексические единицы и речевые обороты (повторение)– to follow, to greet, to mark, to set fireworks, to honour veterans, to dye eggs, ethnic
National/religious/royal/ethnic holidays/festivals
Названия праздников: Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Easter, Christmas, Independence Day.

Religious – go to the church, dye eggs
