  Цели урока:

    Закрепление лексики по теме «Британские традиции». Обобщение материала по теме «Британские традиции». Совершенствование навыков чтения, монологической речи и диалогической речи по теме «Британские традиции».

Оборудование: учебник, мультимедийная презентация, раздаточные карточки с лексико-грамматическими упражнениями.

Технологии, используемые в уроке: коммуникативная технология, проектная технология, личностно-ориентированная технология.

Ход урока

1. Начало урока

Организационный момент. Знакомство с темой урока

T: Hello, boys and girls! Sit down, please. Get ready for the lesson.
T: What date is it today?
T: What day is it today?
T: What is the weather like today?

2. Выполнение  упражнений по теме «Весенние  традиции»

T:  Let’s begin our lesson. The theme of our lesson is «Great Britain. A country of traditions» and the aim of our lesson is to generalize our knowledge on this question. So today, we shall do many different exercises.
T: And now look at these pictures and guess what traditions we are going to start our lesson with.
P: We are going to start our lesson with spring traditions.
T: You are right. But how did you guess?
T: Well done. What spring traditions do you remember?
P: I remember St David’s Day and May Day.
T: Right you are. Now it is time for exercises.
T: P! Read the task, please. (Учащиеся выполняют лексические  задания  на подстановку слов в предложения)
T: Start working. As soon as you are through, raise your hand.
T: Now I see everyone has finished. P was the first to have finished this exercise. Let us listen to him.
