Ex.1.

I should like to translate this article. Would you be so kind as to tell me about your travel? Would you like to look at this picture? It is important that you should come in time. It is necessary that he would do this work quickly. I wish I knew his telephone number. He behaves as if he were the boss here. I wish it were Friday today.

Ex.2.

If you were here, I would give you the book you need. If I had time, I should go with you. If you had worked hard at your English, you would not have failed the test. If he had been at the lesson, he would have known the new material. If I were you, I should have visited your sick friend. We should have stayed in the country a little longer, if the weather had been fine. If he were free, he would be here.

Ex.3.

It's a pity you can't come tomorrow. Peter would help you. I'm so sorry I had no money with me, I would have bought that dress. Why didn't you phone him? He would have helped you. If I had any free time now or tomorrow, I should do the work myself. If I had had any free time yesterday, I should have done the work myself. If I had been there, too, I could have heard the story myself.

Ex.4.

If I got rich I'll travel round the world. If I would have longer holidays I would be perfectly happy. If I have a car things would be fine. I liked you better if you were quieter. If you worked harder last year,  you would probably have passed your exam. If you would have asked me, I would have told you the whole story.

But for him, she would still be in London. -

If I were free, I'd come to you. Were I free, I'd come to you.
