Billy was four yesterday. In the morning his Mum and Dad came into his room. They kissed him and said:
- You are four today! Happy birthday to you! And here are some presents for you!
And they gave him the presents: a big funny toy-monkey and a computer game. Then they gave Billy a telegram. It was from his aunt Polly. The telegram said “Happy birthday, dear Billy! Have a good time!” Billy was happy to get that telegram from his aunt. He thanked his parents and kissed them.
In the afternoon Billy had a birthday party. At three o’clock his friends came. They had presents and sweets. Billy and his friends played games, watched TV and ate cakes.
