Дискуссия "How to improve sales": отработка профессиональных коммуникативных компетенций, профессионального лексического минимума, понятийно-терминологического аппарата по теме "Brands". Группа делится на мини-группы по 3-4 человека. В рамках самостоятельной работы каждая группа составляет список вопросов и предложений для последующего обсуждения поставленных в задании проблем: увеличения объема продаж и повышения привлекательности бренда. На занятии участники каждой мини-группы высказывают свои мнения, пытаясь найти решение обсуждаемым проблемам.
Письменная работа по Разделу 3 (3 семестр).
- Сдача лексического минимума по темам “Brands”, “Travel”, “Change”, "Organization", Advertising", "Money". Проверка усвоения грамматических тем: Present tenses, Past tenses, Future tenses, Articles, Noun combination. Примерный перечень вопросов для письменной работы:
Презентация “Companies that change”. Студенты (индивидуально или в группах) выбирают одну из трех тем и создают свою презентацию. Выступление − 7-10 минут: Carry out your own survey "Is it difficult to change corporate culture?". Write an essay on this topic using real information. Present your survey to the group. You are a management consultant. Explain the Board of Directors and the shareholders of the company how to avoid problems that businesses face when going through change. Make the presentation to your group. Try to be different from your friends and groupmates. Make your presentation as attractive as possible. Write a short report on the companies that took a risk and changed themselves. Then, present your report to the class. Use charts, tables, or other visual aid so the class can more easily observe those changes happened in the companies.

- Сдача лексического минимума по темам “Cultures”, “Human Resources”, “International markets”, “Ethics”, "Leadership", "Competition". Проверка усвоения грамматических тем: Narrative tenses, Relative clause, Passives, Conditions, Ing-forms and Infinitives. Примерный перечень вопросов для контрольной работы:

Написание эссе на тему: "Leadership qualities". Студенты в течении 40 минут должны письменно раскрыть заданную тему, аргументируя свое мнение, приводя примеры, используя свой опыт и опыт международных бизнес практик. Объем эссе не должен быть меньше 250 слов.
Содержание задания: Some people believe that the good leaders are born whereas others hold the opinion that the leadership qualities could be obtained during the life. Who represents the good leader qualities indeed?
