Цель урока - развитие коммуникативных навыков. При планировании урока ставились практические, развивающие, воспитательные задачи.
Практические задачи:
- активизировать изученную лексику по теме «Travelling»; ввести и тренировать новую лексику по теме: “Ideal and Awful Holidays”; продолжать учить высказывать и аргументировать свое мнение; развивать навыки аудирования; совершенствовать навыки поискового чтения; повторить грамматический материал.
Развивающие задачи:
- развивать память, внимание, фантазию; развивать языковую догадку.
Воспитательные задачи:
- научить студентов быть внимательными друг к другу, мотивировать самостоятельность мышления.
Практические задачи:

The theme of our lesson today is Ideal and Awful Holidays. People are usually very happy when they are on holidays. But sometimes it happens that instead of ideal holidays they have awful holidays. Today we’ll speak about the reasons of ideal and awful holidays, we’ll try to learn new words, we’ll listen to the funny story, do grammar test, we’ll revise the Future Simple in order to make up a story about your plans for the next summer holidays. A lot of people are fond of spending their holidays travelling. Do you enjoy spending your holidays travelling? How can people travel? Look at the picture and name the expressions. How do you prefer travelling? Use the scheme to make up your own sentences. What are the main reasons for travelling? When do you usually travel? Why do you travel in summer? Do you always enjoy your holidays? Why don′t you enjoy your holidays? How can we name such holidays? When are you fond of your summer holidays? How can we name such holidays? Yes, really. Holidays can be ideal and awful. There are much more reasons for ideal and awful holidays. I′d like to give you the expressions on the cards and, please, divide them into two columns. But you need to know some new words to do the task. To delay-to make someone or something late. To pollute - to make something dirty. Peaceful-quiet, calm, without any worry. View-the whole area you can see from somewhere, especially when it is beautiful. I’ll give you a minute to divide the expressions into two columns. Work in pairs. So, your time is up. Let′s check your answers. Look at the board. So what are ideal holidays? What are awful holidays? Now let′s relax and do physical exercises and sing a song. Thank you. Take your seats.
