1.2 Речевая зарядка	3 мин	On the board you can see one of the English proverbs. An Englishman’s home is his castle. In your opinion, what does it mean? Let’s translate this proverb. Right you are! It means that English people are fond of their homes and it is usually safe. So, what are we going to talk about? We are going to talk about different types of English houses. II. Основной этап урока 2.1 Введение  нового материала	12 мин	Now, open your books on page 136. Look at the pictures of the houses. Let’s read these descriptions and translate. You should know that detached and semi-detached houses are usually in the countryside. But you can see block of flats and terraced houses in big cities. There are also new words for you. Look at the blackboard - skyscraper – небоскреб, castle – замок, fortress – крепость, palace – дворец. Put down these words in your exercise books. I see you are ready. Now repeat after me. Well done. Dasha, read the 1st three words. Masha, read the next three words. Denis, continue. Now, what is the English for многоквартирный дом, Vika? What is the Russian for небоскреб, Stas? …………….	Отдельный дом на 1 семью; Дом, имеющий общую стену с другим домом; Дом, в ряду других домов; Многоквартирный жилой дом; Block of flats Skyscraper ……………	T – P1,2,3,4…..	Дети по одному переводят слова с помощью учителя. Учитель еще раз обращает внимание на то, как произносится слово и повторяют за ним, записывают в тетрадь. Now, we are going to listen to the interview of a correspondent and a tourist from Britain. C is a correspondent, T is a Tourist. Before listening look at the blackboard. There are some unknown words for you. Let’s read and translate them. Not far from – недалеко от, the centre of – центр чего-то, in the area – в местности, to describe your house - описывать твой дом, is close to - близкий к чему-либо. Now listen to the tape very attentively and be ready to answer my questions. What are they talking about? Where does he live? Is it a nice area? Very good. Let’s translate this dialogue sentence by sentence. Let’s repeat the lines after the speaker. Now it’s time to read this dialogue. Nastya will read for C. Nikita will read for T. Let’s begin. That’s nice. One more time. Katya will read for C and Vera for T. Ok, well done! Now work in pairs and read it to each other. That’s enough. Change over and read again. Let's pass over to the following task. Open your workbooks on page 67 Ex. 40. Vasya, read the task. Translate it. Is the task clear? You have 3 minutes. Let’s check it up. I am a tourist from London…. And so on Match the houses and the words in the box. Yes, it is clear. Number 3 is for a castle….	T – P1,2,3….	Дети произносят незнакомые слова за учителем и переводят. Работа с учебником, слушают текст и отвечают на вопросы. Работа со всем классом, переводят по порядку, каждый и повторят за диктором диалог по предложению. Дети читают диалог, работают в парах. Ребята выполняют упражнение, записывают в рабочую тетрадь.
