Enjoy your school


Цели урока - дальнейшее развитие  языковых умений и навыков по всем основным видам речевой деятельности в формате ГИА.  Урок ориентирован на адаптацию учащихся 5 класса к текстовым заданиям  по теме  «Школа» с учетом  нового формата. Задания каждого этапа  - аудирование, чтение, лексика и грамматика, говорение и письмо,  нацелены на развитие соответствующих языковых умений и навыков.

Оборудование и оформление:  стенд «At School» (творческие работы детей)  газета с рисунками и кроссвордом  школьных предметов, фотографии  по теме «My favourite subject», использование программы «Microsoft Word», лексико-грамматические упражнения на карточках, раздаточный материал,  транскрипционные значки, CD.

1Introduction

Teacher - Good  morning dear guests and students! We are glad to invite you to our unusual lesson! Why is it unusual? Do you know? Yes, you are not mistaken

Today we should speak, listen, read and write about  your  school and favourite  subjects  . You will do tasks in the form of State  exam. It’s  the most important thing.

We wear school uniform at school.  Our school is very old. I go to school on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  We  don’t go to school on Saturday and Sunday. We have many interesting subjects at school. We mustn’t talk with our friends at the lesson.

Сейчас вы прочитаете тексты (1-5) с описанием знакомого вам  школьного предмета. Ваша задача – узнать, о каком предмете идет речь, и подобрать  подходящее название (a, b,c, d,e, f) При этом одно заглавие лишнее. Читайте внимательно и установите соответствия.

At school

1) We  write on the blackboard. We write in our exercise-books with pens. As for me  I can do sums very well.  We check and correct the sums. We do a lot of tests at the lesson.

2) At this lesson we listen to tape recorder. We  do practice the English sounds and repeat words. We answer the teacher’s questions. We try to retell texts or describe pictures. We learn by heard  songs and sing them in English. 

3) We don’t count. We listen to music. We write and learn by heard  songs and sing them. We do our best.

4) First the teacher revises homework. Then we write and read.  We copy exercises or write dictations.  We recite poems, retell  and discuss texts in Russian. We make progress in it.

5) We like this lesson very much because we move a lot. We don’t write.

5. Speaking (dialogue)

Teacher-Let’s play the game «Guess the subject». One pupil will go to the blackboard and think of the favourite subject. You will ask the questions and  try to guess it. If you guess the word, you will go to the blackboard and think of another word.

Вопросы к тексту  и ответы учащихся создают базу для  следующего задания - монологического высказывания по теме.

После  проведения игры «Угадай любимый предмет в школе»  и используя  уже знакомую таблицу, учитель организует  активизацию навыков монологической  речи по теме. Ученики рассказывают,  используя ключевые  предложения.

Dear pen-friend,

My name is Alex. My school is very large.  There is a canteen, a cloakroom and classrooms  for young children on the ground floor. Our lessons begin at half past eight in the morning.  We have five or six lessons every day.  We have a short break between the lessons.  After school a Lollipop lady helps  us to  cross the road safely.

How many  lessons do you have every day? What  marks do you get?
