Задачи урока:

Close your eyes. Count to 10. Open your eyes and blink. Look up, down, right and left (2-3 times). Look at your nose, then at the blackboard (2-3 times). Head up, down, right, left slowly (4 times). Let’s get back to our topic. You know that there are different kinds of activities you can do in your spare time. Your home task was to advertise one of the activities you would recommend your classmates do in their leisure time. But before we start listening to your projects I want you to watch a very short video about a world famous man who you definitely know & his favourite pastime activities. Приложение 1 Everybody knows that the Internet is a global computer network which embraces hundreds of millions of users all over the world. It’s hard to imagine our life without the Internet nowadays. It has become an important part of every person’s life. It has totally changed everything. It’s used not only for information but also for global communication. Since the time of Internet appearance other media sources became unnecessary. One of the advantages of the Internet is that you can find any information in five seconds. Just google it & here is the answer. Sitting in front of a computer, clicking a mouse you can shop, download many interesting films, books, read news, play games with other players, chat & send e-mails to your friends. Nowadays the most popular Internet service is e-mail. With the help of the Internet people from different parts of the planet can communicate with each other & share information without leaving home. However there are not only positive things to say about the Internet. Unfortunately some people become dependent on it. They live in the so-called virtual reality, forgetting about their everyday responsibilities. A lot of teenagers spend a lot of time on the computer spoiling their eyes. Another drawback is violence. Nevertheless every day millions of people turn on their computers & start surfing the worldwide net, because it’s the easiest & quickest way to stay informed. But choosing to have the Internet in our life we must remember that too much pudding will choke the dog. .
