  1. Many things make a good journalist. Starting from such basic things as sympathy, the breadth of the outlook, as well as the trying mind. Ending with the skills of competent writing and other professional qualities of a real journalist.

  1. Even journalists can't agree which of them are more important. But they should always use their main skill, this is a deep and genuine interest in people. For best results.

  1. First of all a journalist must be interested in people of every type. And then all doors in the world of journalism will be open for him, to hear and understand the problem of another is to be a professional in their field.

  1. One who has not this interest in people will not make a good journalist. Perhaps then he will have to become a person from the media sphere: work in the media (editor, producer) or work on the radio.

  1. 5. A journalist should have the qualities of sympathy, openmindedness and an inquiring mind. Of course, with these qualities a journalist will succeed in a career.

  1. He needs to have humility. humility needs a journalist to be able to concentrate on a problem and not spray his energy.

  1. He deals with people. In work I like to communicate with different people. During my work in the newspaper and on television, my social circle expanded greatly. As a journalist, I meet new people every day, and some of them are really interesting.

  1. None of us is fond of the man who is a show-off.

Such a person will not be able to penetrate the soul of a person and penetrate trust in him.


  1. The journalist must be a well-educated man. But the most important thing for a journalist is his practical experience. Journalist needs professional qualities and skills to correspond to the requirements of the modern mass-media.

  1. He must be able to write in clear, simple, direct language. The best journalists write simple, plain, direct English, generally preferring short wordsto long ones.

  1. He must be interested in many subjects but not in just one. The dynamics of the media industry dictates the need turning journalists into transprofessionals.

  1. Nobody can say what the best qualifications for a career in journalism are.

Each person decides for himself in which field it is best to develop in order to achieve certain career heights. Someone becomes a good TV presenter, someone writes texts and stories, and someone goes to the announcers.
