President Nursultan Nazarbayev Receives Credentials from Newly Appointed Ambassadors in Kazakhstan

UK Ambassador David John Moran, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus Valery Brylev, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Gorban Seifi as well as Turkmen Ambassador Magtymguly Akmyradov handed out credentials to the President.

Addressing the Ambassadors, Nursultan Nazarbayev congratulated on the beginning of the diplomatic mission and expressed hope that their work would promote development of the relations among the countries.

President Nursultan Nazarbayev Takes Part in the Opening Ceremony of the №47 Kindergarten "Ak Zhelken" for 240 Children in Astana

Earlier the akimat of Almaty district of the city was located in the building constructed in 1989. More than KZT 341.8 million was allocated for reconstruction of the building. Twelve Kazakh-teaching language groups were formed in the kindergarten.

Shulbinsk and Ust-Kamenogorsk HPPs, part of AES, were found to fail to fulfill their investments commitments as well as a number of other power plants with total sum of KZT 1.5billion.

On the threshold of celebration of the Fatherland Defender’s Day the President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan Visits Military Camp in Ilyinka and the Military Detachment Near Astana

The head of state congratulated the military on the coming holidays and handed keys to new cottages over to them. Today eleven large families of the military received the keys to their new apartments. All houses are partly furnished and have garages attached to them.

More than 400 war veterans from all the regions of the country, from the cities of Astana and Almaty, residents and visitors of the capital attended the ceremony.

President Nursultan Nazarbayev took part in the solemn meeting devoted to the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and Fatherland Defender’s Day which took place at the Independence Palace.

Prior to the meeting, the President met with a group of war veterans, handed over keys to apartments in Astana and anniversary medals dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Victory to them.

In the course of the meeting the head of state underlined that veterans bore the brunt of all the hardships, then continued to work after the war, build Kazakhstan and made an enormous contribution to development of the state.

This event has not accidentally become a key point of the program of the presidential trip to the region. The new plant at the Vasilkovsky Ore Mining and Processing Complex is one of the first projects realized in the framework of the State Accelerated Industrial and Innovation Development Program. The President met with representatives of the interior affairs agencies, healthcare and educational institutions at the central square. Nursultan Nazarbayev presented them keys from the special vehicles. Representatives of municipal and regional internal affairs agencies received 57 motor vehicles. Besides, 10 vehicles were given to the social organizations, 10 of them were sent to the medical emergency service. The premiere of the musical has become an important event for the cultural life of Kazakhstan. The musical is written by composer Almas Serkebayev jointly with German playwright Yuri Kudlach. Today in Temirtau President Nursultan Nazarbayev Takes Part in the Festive Events Devoted to the 50thAnniversary of the Karaganda Steel Mill

In the first half of the day the President arrived in Temiratau where he visited Karaganda Metallurgical Plant at the ArcelorMittal Temirtau, JSC.

After study in Dneprodzerzhinsk the future leader of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev began his working life as a furnace worker at this plant. In 1960, he participated in the tapping of the first cast iron. Today the President also took part in the ceremony of anniversary tapping of cast iron at the blast furnace No. 4. devoted to the 50th anniversary of the Karaganda Metallurgical Plant being held at the ArcelorMittal Temirtau JSC.

The celebration of the Capital’s Day was started with the National Flag raising ceremony at "Atameken" Ethno-Memorial Complex.

Addressing the residents and visitors of the capital, the President underlined that holding such solemn ceremony has become a good tradition. These four symbols of statehood and unity – the National Flag, National Emblem and National Anthem are treated with great respect by the people of Kazakhstan.

Khan Shatyr is a unique complex, the construction of which mixed bold and avant-garde achievements in modern architecture and engineering. Enclosing an area of 127,000 square metres, the structure soars 102 metres from the base to the peak. The center comprises a ‘world within’ with a comfortable microclimate and is sheltered with a climatic envelope that protects the tent year round, whatever the weather.

Today in Almaty President Nursultan Nazarbayev Takes Part in the Solemn Opening Ceremony of Apartment Housing Estate Ak Kent

The total area comprises 44 hectares. According to the Master plan 89 houses will be constructed. The complex will include a school, two kindergartens, healthcare objects and other facilities. The construction is financed by the National Welfare Fund “Samruk Kazyna”, JSC. With the support of the state KZT 16.5 billion had been allocated to realize this project.
