Тип урока: интегрированный урок. Межпредметный мини проект, так как при подготовке к уроку были использованы материалы из истории, информатики, научно-популярной литературы. Развитие межпредметных связей помогает учащимся осознать, как знания из разных предметов объединяются в реальной жизни.
Цели урока: научить детей видеть связь между различными сторонами жизни, повышая мотивацию к изучению иностранного языка и формируя устойчивый интерес к другим предметам.
Образовательные задачи:
· актуализация лексического материала (спецтерминология);
· совершенствование навыков речи с опорой на образец;
· анализ текста (поисковое чтение, выбор нужной информации);
· закрепление умения и навыков работы при создании комбинированных документов.
Развивающие задачи: развивать интерес и творческую активность учащихся; формировать информационную компетентность.
Воспитательные задачи: воспитание патриотических чувств, гордости за поколение прадедов, победивших фашизм, формирование гражданской позиции;
формировать у школьников элементы информационной культуры и компьютерной грамотности; воспитывать чувство взаимопомощи, умения работать в группе.
Формы работы на уроке: фронтальная, групповая.
Оборудование: мультимедийный комплекс, персональные компьютеры, презентация.
Программное обеспечение: Power Point, PhotoShop.
Демонстрационный материал: мультимедийная презентация, подготовленные материалы (текст писем и открыток на английском языке, коллажи).

Today we have unusual lesson. We `ll remind one of the main event in the history of our country – the Great Patriotic War and today all Russians celebrate the 70th anniversary of the battle of Moscow, which showed the world the heroism and bravery of our people during the hardest days for our Motherland. Your home task was to write the post cards with warm congratulations to the veterans, find in the Internet the letters of soldiers from the front and translate them, to write the compositions – your thoughts about those war days. Now prepare your homework and use it in the discussion of the presentation prepared by Tarasova Nastya.
2. Показ презентации и обсуждение учащимися слайдов, используя материал из подготовленных дома сочинений и писем с фронта.
3. Чтение учащимися трогательных писем с фронта, своих раздумий о войне, обсуждение творческих работ
4. Викторина по истории ВОВ и битвы под Москвой.
5. Закрепление усвоенных знаний по информатике и информационным технологиям и выработка умений к их применению.
Работа в парах учащихся на персональных компьютерах. Составление коллажей на тему войны. Создание комбинированных документов: оформление поздравительных открыток ветеранам, написание писем с фронта. Умение работать в компьютерной локальной сети.
6. Учащиеся распечатывают на принтере свои работы и составляют альбом памяти.
7. Заключительное слово учителя.

In 2011, our country is widely marked a tragic day - the 70th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War.
1941 was the worst, the most tragic year in the history of Russia. How many tears were shed in this horrible year! Every family saw someone off at the front. Poor little children were condemned on hungry existence. 
In the early days of the war thousands of men from our country went to the front. The Soviet army left hundreds of villages and towns under the blows of the German troops. In late November, fights were not far from our town. Only units returned home, most of them were wounded. 
Our soldiers fought bravely in the Great Patriotic War. They honorably fulfilled their soldier's duty.
People remember the deeds of Russian soldiers. They admire the heroes and tell their children about them.
We must keep sacred memory of soldiers who defended our country and liberated from the fascists.
The war is a battle between worlds. It brings hunger and death. The war must never happen again.

An echelon is waiting for us at the station. I am sitting in a shade of a wagon and writing a letter to you. We are waiting for a long time. My partner Markov and I cooked a porridge-concentrate. Porridge was delicious. Sweet and a bit liquid but it's because we left some for dinner.
My money came to an end. I've got only 30 rubles. Today I spent 35 rubles near Aral Sea. I bought 6 salty fishes for 10 rubles and 25 rubles on, - What do you think? - , a bucket of salt. I will sell it in Russia. The first who opened salt company is my partner Markov. He changed a bucket of salt on a socket of tobacco. A salty fever began. Everyone bought buckets, bags of salt and changed it on useful things.
Today we passed an Aral Sea. The train is staying, so I begin to think about where to sit, on a roof or in a wagon. Generally, don't miss, I won't miss. Greet everyone.

On the 16th of November the German troops expected to break the defence of the southeast territory near Moscow, it was near Volokolamsk. In this part Germans could get the direct way to Moscow by using the railway and the highway. However, near Dubosekovo the German forces met with enemy resistance. These heroes were 28 panfilovcev. They had to fight against 30 tanks. 28 soldiers under command of general Panfilov fought up to the last ditch. 28 people had only one piece of ordnance for all and several antitank rifles against the whole echelon of German tanks. At that moment any delay of enemies was a great success. If they had not done it, 50 tanks would have gone directly to the Moscow centre. But these 28 heroes managed to stop the enemy troops for the whole day. The reserve was called out and the troops near Moscow launched a counteroffensive. All of these soldiers became Heroes of the Soviet Union.

In the 1941 our army defeated the fascists near Moscow. It was the main event in the History of the Second World War. Moscow saw some of the most concentrated and bloodiest fightings. We keep the memory alive who sacrified their lives during the War in order that we may be free. We honour those who could survive in those terrible days. We would like to wish you good health and long life.

Hello my dear little family! I kiss and hug all of you.
My life is still in hospital treatment. Would not healed yet. So far, no special treatment is made to restore the nervous system. The doctor haven’t decided yet what to do: operation or may be other treatment.
The life here is quite. I’ve lost the feeling of a lifetime. I accustomed to the freedom. But the living conditions here are good. Food is excellent.600 grams of bread. For supper it’s given 150 grams. Sometimes dinner consists from three dishes.

THE DEED OF THE TWENTY-EIGHT
PANFILOV’S GUARDSMEN
In December 2011 all Russian people will celebrate the seventieth anniversary of the defeating fascist troops at the approaches to Moscow.
Among the heroes of this battle there were the soldiers of the Red Army’s 316th Rifle Division, which was commanded by general Ivan Panfilov. In the morning of November 16, 1941 the division was attacked by German forces near the village of Dubosekovo. Twenty-eight Panfilov’s guardsmen had a fierce four-hour battle with the enemies. They managed to destroy eighteen fascist tanks and killed seventy German soldiers. Unfortunately, all the twenty-eight guardsmen were killed during the battle. Later they were collectively rewarded with the title “Hero of the Soviet Union”.
I think we should never forget the deeds of the Russian people during the Great Patriotic War. They defended out Motherland and presented a happy life to us.
