Задания для самостоятельной работы студентов.

Студентам предлагается в группах по 2 человека сделать электронную презентацию по изученной теме и представить свою презентацию в конце каждой новой лекции. В этой презентации они должны обязательно использовать новую лексику, которая была представлена в предыдущей лекции.

Семинары не предусмотрены.

Требования к реферату: Объём – 15-20 страниц печатного текста; шрифт – 14 Times New Roman; пробел между строк – 1,5; поля: левое – 3, правое – 1,5, верхнее и нижнее – 2,5; количество источников – 5-10.

Темы курсовых работ не предусмотрены.

Формы и виды контроля.

Промежуточный контроль: по окончании каждой лекции студентам предлагается экспресс-опрос, включающий вопросы по ранее пройденной теме. Например:

1. Name the dependencies of the UK.

2. Western Scotland is fringed by numerous islands. Give their general name.

3. What is the longest river in the UK?

4. What is the deepest lake in the UK:

a) Lough Morar;

b) Lough-Neagh;

c) Lake Vyrnwy.

Итоговый контроль: в конце 2-го семестра предусмотрен зачет. Зачет проводится в устной форме: студентам предлагается сдать лексический минимум. В минимум включается тематическая лексика, географические, культурные, политические и пр. реалии. Например:
