Сценарий игры « Поле чудес » по теме « Экономика » на английском языке
для учащихся 8-9 классов.
Цель: закрепление изученной лексики в игре, повышение интереса учащихся к английско
му языку, расширение кругозора и вовлечение их в самостоятельную творческую
деятельность.
Оснащение: алфавит английского языка, магнитофон, кассета с песней об алфавите,
задания к игре, сувениры.
Сценарий:
( Звучит музыка)
Compere: Good afternoon, Ladies and Gentlemen! Hello, children! I’m glad to see you. Today
we’ll play a very interesting game “ A wonderful field ”. The topic of our game is
“ Economy”. There are a lot of words on this topic. Which of them do you know?
P(s) : Economy, share, rent, auction, bank, exchange, currency, money, wages, capital, trade,
manager, profit, market, home market, foreign market, the Common Market, goods,
property, price, cost, inflation, advertisement, mafia, commerce, treaty, to conclude,
agreement, boss, cooperation, business, jobless, tax, income tax, shareholder.
Compere: Well, I see that you know many words and I think that today’s game will be very
interesting. But first, let’s repeat the English alphabet.

- Shall we start our game? Let me introduce the first players. They are…
(the word: advertisement)
Expressions:
P1, begin, please. Well, correct.
What’s your letter? It’s a pity.
Right, wrong. I’m sorry.

Questions for the players:
- Have you got any friends? - Have you got a family?
- What are their names? - What’s your mother’s name?
- Are they good friends? - Where does she work?
- What games do you like?
- Do you like to play football?

- Well, the first winner is …I congratulate and give you a present. Take it, please.
The others, thank you for your taking part in our game. The first word we’ve guessed:

- Well, I want to play with the audience. I’ll give you some meanings of the words.
You should guess them.
- Place in which money is kept and paid out on demand (bank).
- Person, who controls his business (manager).
- Control and management of money, goods, industry, trade ( economy).
- Place, where businessmen meet for business (exchange ).
- Payment for labour or services (wages).
- Public place, where people meet to buy and sell goods (market ).
- Sum of money for which something is sold or bought ( price ).
- Type of money that is used in a country ( currency ).
- Look at the blackboard and guess the word ( capital ).
Compere: Let’s continue our game. It’s a final. Let me introduce the players… There is a proverb
on the blackboard. Guess it.

Compere: Well, the winner is… Do you want to play a super game? Make up two proverbs about business, please.
