Декада английского языка
В рамках ежегодной предметной декады по английскому языку в школе проходит много интересных увлекательных и познавательных конкурсов.
Шоу-игра
«Поле чудес»
по теме:
«Достопримечательности
Лондона».
Цели: - поддержание интереса к изучению иностранного языка;
-тренировка лексических навыков;
-развитие догадки и логического мышления;
-расширение сферы применения навыков и умений учащихся, приобретённых в учебном курсе, расширение языковой среды.
Оборудование: 1) вращающийся круг с указательной стрелкой, поверхность которого разделена на равные доли (секторы), означающие определённое количество баллов (5,10,15,20 и т. д.). Среди них есть сектор «+» (игрок имеет право открыть любую букву в заданном слове на классной доске) и сектор «приз» (возможность игроку взять приз или продолжить игру).
2) карточки с буквами, которые крепятся на доску обратной стороной.
3)иллюстрации-подсказки на доске.
4)призы.
5)музыкальное оформление.
6)презентация «Достопримечательности Лондона».
Предварительная подготовка:
1) заранее выбираются 9 участников для трёх туров.
2) Подготовить номера художественной самодеятельности на английском языке для музыкальных пауз во время игры.
Ход игры.
Организационный момент.
(Звучит музыка - позывные игры)
Ведущий: Hello everybody! We’re glad to see you at the most exciting show-game “The Field of Wonders”! I’m happy to inform you that it is devoted to the sights of London.
-What is London? (the Capital of Great Britain, one of the biggest and most interesting cities in world). Thank you!
Listen to the rules of the game!
You turn the circle and get points, which turn into prizes then. If your sector is “plus”, you can open any letter in the world you like. If your sector is “prize” you can either take the prize or continue the game.
You have to name the letters and try to guess the word.
The winner is the student who will name the whole word.
So we are starting!

Ведущий: I would like to invite the first three players.(первая тройка игроков выходит на игровое поле п представляется)
Pupil 1: I’m Kate. I’m in year 9. I like books, so I read a lot in my spare time. Sometimes I prefer watching TV. My favourite TV programme is “Who wants to be a Millionaire”
Ведущий: Look at the board and listen to the task.. It is the seat of the British government and it is one of the most beautiful buildings in London What is it?

Ведущий:We have the first winner today. Her name is…….. Let’s applaud her (him). How clever you are! Please will you bring the presents for the first players of our game! Thanks a lot. You may take your seats.

Ведущий: Now we are going to have a music break. P.1 is singing a song

Ведущий:With great pleasure I invite the players for the second round of our game. Listen to the questions. Name the letters and don’t forget to cross them on your papers. So look at the board. This is the biggest English church.

Третий тур.
Ведущий: We are to continue the game! Are you ready? Listen! The word on the blackboard means a sightseeing which was founded in 1753 in London. It has big collections of books, manuscripts, prints, drawings, paintings, medals, coins. The biggest Library in Great Britain with many millions of books is in it. What is it?

Ведущий: I invite the three winners to play the fourth and the last part of our game today! Give them a round of applause! This is the most exciting moment? Because we are going to find out who is the most intelligent student. Look at the blackboard and listen it is one of the biggest parks in central London. It is 1,4 sq. km. Many people come to the park every day to have a rest on the green grass or to feed birds in the Serpentine Lake. Every Sunday you can listen to any person in the Speaker’s Corner. What is it?
