1. Методические указания по выполнению контрольных работ по курсу "Английский язык"
1.1. Подготовка к выполнению контрольных работ.
При подготовке к выполнению контрольных работ нужно, прежде всего, тщательно проработать необходимый для данной контрольной работы фонетический, лексический и грамматический материал с последующим его усвоением по рекомендованному вузом основному учебнику, магнитофонной записи и дополнительной литературе. Кроме того, подготовка должна включать в себя обязательное поэтапное выполнение всех заданий, предусмотренных рабочей программой курса "Английский язык" для студентов дистанционной формы обучения.
1.2. Выполнение и оформление контрольных работ.
Количество контрольных работ, выполняемых студентами на каждом курсе, устанавливается учебным планом вуза.
Выполнять письменные контрольные работы следует в отдельной тетради. На обложке тетради напишите шифр, свою фамилию, имя и отчество, адрес, номер контрольной работы и название учебника, по которому Вы занимаетесь.
Контрольные работы должны выполняться аккуратно, четким подчерком. При выполнении контрольной работы оставляйте в тетради справа широкие поля для замечаний, объяснений и методических указаний рецензента.
1.3. Исправление работы на основе рецензии.
При получении проверенной рецензентом контрольной работы внимательно прочитайте рецензию, ознакомьтесь с замечаниями и проанализируйте отмеченные в работе ошибки.
Руководствуясь указаниями рецензента, повторите не вполне усвоенный Вами учебный материал. Все предложения, в которых были обнаружены орфографические и грамматические ошибки или неточности перевода, перепишите начисто в исправленном виде в конце данной контрольной работы.
Только после того, как будут выполнены все указания рецензента, можно приступить к изучению материала очередного контрольного задания и его выполнению.
Отрецензированные контрольные работы являются учебными документами, по которым производится опрос при сдаче зачета или экзамена.
1.4. Консультации (письменные, устные и по компьютерной
сети).
Студент дистанционной формы обучения, самостоятельно изучающий английский язык, может обращаться за консультацией к ведущему преподавателю по вопросам, которые он самостоятельно не может изучить. Программой предусматриваются различные виды консультаций, а именно: письменные, устные и по компьютерной сети.
1.5. Подготовка к зачетам и экзамену.
В процессе подготовки к зачетам и экзамену рекомендуется:
а) повторно прочитать и перевести на русский язык те тексты, которые показались Вам наиболее трудными при выполнении контрольных работ;
б) проверить усвоение выписанных Вами слов и выражений, входящих в лексический минимум освоенного учебника;
в) просмотреть по отрецензированным контрольным работам отмеченные в них ошибки.
1.6. Рекомендации по выполнению контрольной работы № 4.
Для того чтобы правильно выполнить контрольную работу № 4, необходимо усвоить следующие разделы изучаемого курса английского языка по рекомендованному учебнику.
1. Запланированное будущее действие, выражаемое с помощью to be going + Vo - собираться сделать что-либо.
2. Специальные вопросы (к подлежащему, сказуемому, дополнению, определению, обстоятельству).
3. Простое будущее время (The Simple Future Tense).
4. Простое прошедшее время (The Simple Past Tense).

1.7. Рекомендации по выполнению контрольной работы № 5.
Для того чтобы выполнить контрольную работу № 5 необходимо усвоить следующие разделы изучаемого курса английского языка по рекомендованному учебнику.
1. Настоящее совершенное время (The Present Perfect Tense).
2. Эквиваленты модальных глаголов -must-, - can-.
3. Страдательный залог (The Passive Voice).
4. Формы продолженного времени (Continuous Tense).

1.8. Рекомендации по выполнению контрольной работы № 6.
Для того чтобы правильно выполнить контрольную работу № 6 необходимо усвоить следующие разделы изучаемого курса английского языка по рекомендуемому учебнику.
1. Формы перфектного времени (Perfect Tenses). Действительный и страдательный залог (Active and Passive Voice).

We must protect our Environment
Our Earth is our home. And I think all people must take care of it. There are some laws and decrees on environment protection. Our country has state organizations, which pay attention to this very important problem.
There are a lot of industrial enterprises in our country that pollute the environment with smoke and dust particles. It is a globally important ecological problem of our days. Our main aim is the environment protection. What must we do for it? We must control air and water pollution, to study the man¢n influence on the climate. The pollution of the environment influences the life of animals, plants and our human life.
The people all over the world do everything to protect their nature, to make their country richer, to make their life happier.

Environment Protection must be Global
The problem of pollution and ecology is the most important for mankind. Air and water pollution reached very large proportions. In our era this problem changed from a national to international one, especially in territories where rivers cross several countries. The seas and oceans became seriously polluted too. A similar situation is in the atmosphere. It is known that many cities of the world suffer from air pollution.
However, with the help of our scientific knowledge and technological advancement we can improve the situation. Many scientists in industrially developed countries work on the theory of interaction of all the atmospheric and oceanic global processes that determine the climate and weather of the world.
The essential feature in environmental protection is that many problems can be solved only on the level of world community.

The Problems of Environment Protection
Nowadays the problems of pollution and ecology are the most important ones. These problems are combined directly with our life. Plants and factories at which we work put their waste materials into water and atmosphere polluting the environment.
There are many kinds of transport in our big cities that is why we must pay attention to the protection of our nature and the health of the people.
The problem of man and his interaction with the environment is one of the most serious facing the scientist of the world. On the whole the situation in our country is much more serious than in most western countries. We can see this not only from the data obtained by. More than 6000 national ecological stations and centers of our country but also from assessments (оценок) made by experts from the United Nations and other organizations.

The Likely Consequences of a Nuclear Conflict
The international organization Earthscan deals with the problems of environment and pollution. This organization turns to problems of war more and more often. Recently speaking at a press conference a well-know climatologist from England reported the results of his research.
As a result of a nuclear strike summer will change into winter because of the emission into the atmosphere millions of tons of fine dust and smoke particles. The resulting cloud will screen sunlight. Visibility will drop to one percent of normal.
The surface of our planet will quickly begin to cool down. The temperature will fall by 20 to 30 degrees and as a result summer will turn into winter. The climate will change and it will lead to diseases and even death of living organisms.
Earthscan calls the leaders of the countries for a radically new thinking on problems of warrant peace.

As a result of the technological progress and great needs of the people in minerals and water the face of the Earth is changing day by day and not to the good. We really haven’t got much fresh water n the Earth, as well as minerals. And we must protect nature from people’s egoism.
But the principal problem is the classical one-war and Peace problem. The discussions on this problem are taking place on all levels here and everywhere on our planet. What we must do and what we can do to kup life on our planet peaceful. We all stay in one and the same boat. On a cosmic scale our planet is so little! We cannot be happy locally in our times. This little planet mast be our common home. We must defend it in common. In fact on a global scale we must feel one common family of the planet. It is time to act and not only to speak to about it.

Our planet Earth is our home. Our duty is to protect it. That is why the problem of pollution and ecology is one of the most important for mankind. Every day we can read about great environmental problems facing almost all dynamically developed countries. As a result of the technological progress and great needs of the people in minerals and water the face of the Earth is changing day by day and not to the good. We really haven’t got much fresh water n the Earth, as well as minerals. And we must protect nature from people’s egoism.
But the principal problem is the classical one-war and Peace problem. The discussions on this problem are taking place on all levels here and everywhere on our planet. What we must do and what we can do to kup life on our planet peaceful. We all stay in one and the same boat. On a cosmic scale our planet is so little! We cannot be happy locally in our times. This little planet mast be our common home. We must defend it in common. In fact on a global scale we must feel one common family of the planet. It is time to act and not only to speak to about it.

The international organization Earthscan deals with the problems of environment and pollution. This organization turns to problems of war more and more often. Recently speaking at a press conference a well-know climatologist from England reported the results of his research.
As a result of a nuclear strike summer will change into winter because of the emission into the atmosphere millions of tons of fine dust and smoke particles. The resulting cloud will screen sunlight. Visibility will drop to one percent of normal.
The surface of our planet will quickly begin to cool down. The temperature will fall by 20 to 30 degrees and as a result summer will turn into winter. The climate will change and it will lead to diseases and even death of living organisms.
