"Здоровый образ жизни" (9-й класс)
Цели:
· практическая: обобщить и систематизировать знания и умения учащихся по теме «Здоровье»;
· познавательная: расширить кругозор учащихся, формировать коммуникативную компетенцию
· развивающая: развивать воображение, фантазию, творческое мышление; развивать речевые способности, личностную активность (высказывать свою точку зрения);
· воспитательная: учить учащихся бережно относиться к своему здоровью, правильно питаться, отказаться от вредных привычек.
УУД: умение кратко высказываться без предварительной подготовки в связи с ситуацией общения, используя аргументацию и выражая свое отношение к предмету речи; использовать контекстуальную или языковую догадку.
Оборудование: картинки и проекты учащихся на тему: “Здоровый образ жизни”, раздаточный материал
Ход мероприятия
I. Приветствие.
T: Good morning, everybody. Nice to meet you. How are you today? Are you fine? That’s nice. Today we’ll speak about a healthy way of life. Let’s start with proverbs about food and health.

2. Стихи и литературный перевод учащихся.
T: Our classmates will recite the interesting poem and their own literary translations.

II. MODERN SINS
2.1. FOOD.
T: Can you imagine our life without food? I think no. The proverb says: “We are what we eat”. What do we know about healthy eating?

2.3. The problem of food is closely connected with dieting. We all want to be slim. We’ve got some information about dieting: whether it is a good thing or not. (pupil 2) (Приложение 3)
What do 100 calories a day correspond to? It’s easy to feed 100 calories to the body but difficult to burn them, as the drawings illustrate.
Variants of burning calories are:
1) 2 km walk;
2) 5 min of skiing at competition speed;
3) 4 km of cycling;
4) 15 min of tennis (easy pace);
5) 30 min of gardening.
T: You should count your calories if you want to have a good figure.
2.4. Have you heard anything about Junk Food? (pupil 3) (приложение 4)
If we eat too much sweets, cakes, high fat food, constantly snack, do not get enough vitamins and minerals we shall become obese, and obesity leads to serious diseases. A lot of people like drinking Coca– Cola and coffee and enjoy pizzas and hamburges. But what is tasty is not always healthy. Fast food makes you fat and unhealthy.
2.5. BAD HABITS.
T: Another problem is bad habits. Can you name any bad habits? Bad habits make you unhealthy, for e. g. smoking.
1)Why smoking is so dangerous? (Smoking, for example, causes a number of heart and lung diseases such as pneumonia, cough and cancer of lungs. Besides, it makes your teeth yellow and skin unhealthy).
2)How to solve this problem?
3)What advice can you give to smokers.
We can give advice to a smoker who has made up his mind to give up smoking: to find a hobby, to go in for sport, try to make new friends who don’t smoke, to take a lollipop every time you want to smoke, you must have a strong will.
2.6. STRESS
T: Living with stress is our big problem too. Stress is everywhere in our daily life. We should know how to cope with these problems and how to overcome them. Here is our project “Anti-Stress Recipes”.

General Advice on Healthy Food
1. Eat less salt, sugar and fat.
2. Eat more raw fruit and vegetables, whole meal bread and other foods rich in fibre.
3. Check the 'Contents' labels on packets and tins to see what they actually contain.
4. If you want to lose weight, do it gradually. People who lose weight quickly usually put it back on quickly, too.
5. Eat regularly - your body needs a steady flow of energy.
6. Drink five or six glasses of water per day.
7. Enjoy your food!
