1 Пояснительная записка

Школы бывают разные, дети бывают разные, учителя бывают разные….

Об этом можно говорить бесконечно….

Мы должны учить всех детей, независимо от их способностей, стремиться вырастить из маленького человечка большого ЧЕЛОВЕКА, умного, образованного, гармонично развитого, способного самостоятельно принимать правильные решения и достигать поставленные цели. Общество развивается, изменяется, то, что было хорошо 50 лет назад становится неприемлемым в современном мире. Учитель нового поколения должен реализовать новые подходы в образовании, стать как бы куратором и помощником своим воспитанникам.

Работая в школе учителем английского языка уже много лет, мы пришли к выводу, что без живого интереса к изучению предмета у детей невозможно возникновение устойчивых знаний и умений, так необходимых в реальной жизни. Поэтому основной целью стал деятельностный подход в проведении уроков, чтобы каждое занятие осталось в памяти ребёнка надолго.

Мы предлагаем Вашему вниманию 40 методических разработок занятий, уже опробованных на практике, демонстрирующих возможность использования деятельностного подхода в работе с различными группами детей. При этом мы считаем эти разработки универсальными, подходящими для проведения мероприятий, как во вторых, так и в шестых классах с применением лексико-грамматического материала в тенденции от простого к сложному, так как интерес к предложенным темам сохраняется как у учащихся начального, так и среднего звена обучения.

Каждое из вышеупомянутых мероприятий имело огромный успех и положительные отзывы учащихся, родителей и педагогов.

Краткий обзор нашей работы можно посмотреть на презентации, прилагаемой к методическим разработкам «Мы любим учиться».

Мы надеемся, что предложенный материал по проведению занятий, демонстрирующих деятельностный подход в обучении, будет интересен начинающим и опытным преподавателям английского языка.

Ход проведения праздничных мероприятий подробно представлен на английском языке, подвижные игры – на русском и английском языках, остальной материал – только на русском.

2 Праздники

·  Праздник «Хэллоуин»

Цели проведения урока:

Обучающая: Познакомить учащихся с традициями Англии на примере

праздника “Хэллоуин”

Развивающая: Заинтересовать детей в изучении английского языка как

средства для ознакомления с традициями англоязычных

стран

Воспитательная: Активизировать у учащихся творческие способности при

подготовке и проведении праздника

\Задачи урока:

1.  Активизировать лексику по темам: внешность, одежда, порядковые числительные, глаголы движения

2.  Совершенствовать навыки ознакомительного чтения

3.  Формировать навыки работы над презентацией в рамках текста

4.  Отработать навыки ответов на вопросы

Оборудование: 4 ноутбука, 3 флэш карты, мультимедийный проектор, аудиозаписи, презентация к уроку, раздаточный материал.

Ход урока

(The teacher says) Good morning, dear boys. Good morning, dear girls. I’m glad to see you. How are you? (Children answer: “Fine, thank you”)(The teacher says)Today we’re going to have a …

(Three children come out from the cartoon tree) The first child: It's Halloween! It's Halloween!

The second child: The Moon is full and bright! The third child: For all tonight it’s Halloween!

All together: Happy Halloween! Happy Halloween to all! (The teacher says and shows )Oh! We’re scared! We’re frightened! Take your seats! Quickly! So we’re going to have a very unusual lesson. We’re going to sing songs, read and speak about Halloween, do a very interesting task using computer technology, play some games

(The teacher says) That’s all for Halloween! Let’s begin!

Today all of you are three teams. You’re the first team. You’re the second team. You’re the third team. Look at your desks. There are some very nice things there. They’re your symbols. Take and put them around your neck. Well done! (Children put on their symbols on their necks)

(The teacher says) So, the first team, what is your symbol? (The children answer) - It is a witch.

(The teacher says)Yes, you’re right. You’re the team “Witches”, you’re going to sing the song Walk Like a Ghost You need to use some verbs, so let’s brush up some of them.

Now let’s play a little. We need three pupils – one from each e to the board, please. Well done! Take these cards. Don’t show them. Read the verb and show the action to us. And we’ll guess what it is! Let’s do it. (Children play the game - show walk, fly, hop, others – guess and say). (The teacher says)You’re brilliant pupils! Witches, sing your song, please.

(Children sing and dance)

(The teacher says) The second team, look your symbol. What’s this? (The children answer) - It’s a pumpkin.

(The teacher says) You’re the team “Pumpkins”. You’re going to sing your team’s song Five little pumpkins and you need to use some numbers. Let’s brush up some of them. Look at the cards and answer the questions please. (The teacher asks questions and the children answer) What date is it? It’s the 8th of March. (It’s the 23rd of February. It’s the 2nd of April). And what is the date? It’s the 31st of October. It’s Halloween, of course.

(The teacher says) Thank you; take your seats, please. Now it’s time to sing again. “Pumpkins”, you turn! And everybody helps! (Children sing and dance).

The song Five little pumpkins

Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate;

The first one said, "Oh my! It's getting late."

The second one said, "There are witches in the air."

The third one said, "But we don't care. We don't care. We might be scared but we don’t care! "Number four said, "Run, let’s run!"

The fifth one said, "I’m ready for some fun." "Wooooooo" went the wind, And out went the lights. And the five little pumpkins went rolled out of sight.

(The teacher says) Well done! It’s fantastic! Take your seats, please. And at last, the third team, what is your symbol?

(The children answer) - It’s a spider.) You are the team “Spiders”. You’re going to sing the song There’s a spider on the floor. You need to sing some words. Let’s brush them up. Look at the pictures and answer the questions, please.

What is it? (It’s a knee). How many knees has a spider got? How many knees have you got? Show me your knees, please. What is it? (It’s a belly). Has a spider got a belly? (The teacher shows a spider. Show a spider) Have you got a belly? Show me your belly, please. What is it? (It’s a head).Touch your head, please. Touch your hair, please. What colour is your hair? OK. Now, spiders, your turn! Come and sing. We’re going to help you! (Children sing and dance with spiders)

(The teacher says) It’s fantastic! Take your seats, please. Now let’s read the text. Who wants to read? (Children read the text turn by turn)

Halloween

There is a nice holiday for children in Great Britain and in America– Halloween. It’s on the 31st of October. People make jack-o'-lanterns [ʤækə'læntənz] They cut eyes, a nose and a mouth in the pumpkin and put candles into it. So the pumpkin looks like a face. The children go from house to house and knock at the doors. They say, “Trick or treat”. People ask them to come into their house and give them sweets, fruit, cakes and other tasty things. This is a nice and tasty holiday, isn’t it?

(The teacher says) Thanks a lot. Very well. Now guess what it is. (Children guess the riddles)

It is light and it is bright. It is yellow or it is white. It needs in careful handle.

What is it? (It is a candle)

It’s a pumpkin with a mouth. It’s a pumpkin with two eyes. It’s a pumpkin which was torn

What is it? (It is jack-o'-lantern)

It is tasty, it is sweet. And if you haven’t got it You can play some tricks. You like to get it

What is it? (It is a treat)

(The teacher says) Now let’s read the text again and choose the right words.

They say, “(Trick or treat/Jump or cry)”. People give them sweets, fruit, cakes and other tasty things. This is a (nice/bad) and tasty holiday, isn’t it?

(Children read the text turn by turn and choose the right words)

(The teacher says) Well done! And now you’re going to do a very difficult but very interesting task. Turn to the notebooks and take the card. You should make the presentation following the instructions on your card. One, two, three….Let’s begin!

(Children in groups make presentations “Halloween”, “Monsters” and “Trick or treat” using Power Point.)

(The teacher says)Are you ready? Great! Now let’s show your presentations.

(Children show their presentations and discuss them)

(The teacher says) Well done! Did you like doing this task? Was it difficult? Do you want to make other presentations next lessons? Who has a computer at

home? Do you want to make your own presentation? Great! So, it will be your home task. You should make the presentation “Halloween” yourself and bring it to school on the flash card or CD. Thanks a lot.

Now let’s play some English Halloween games. The first game is “Duckling for apples”. You can see a large round washtub. I am floating three apples on the water. Will you try to catch one apple with your mouth? Oh, great! Who wants to try? But don’t touch the apple with your hands! Now let’s begin.

(Some children try to catch a floating apple.)

(The teacher says) Well done. Do you like this game? Now let’s play another Halloween game. As we know there’s a tradition on Halloween to go from house to house, knock at the doors and ask “Trick or treat”. Now we need two pupils. You’ll be Englishmen. So you’re a family and live in this house. Great! Come into the house, please. Imagine it’s Halloween night and you’re at home and some children come to you. Now some of you will be English children. Who wants to come here? So you should come to the house, knock at the door and say “Trick or treat”. We’ll see what happens.

(Children come to the house (made of carton); say “Trick or treat” and pupils (who are in the house) give them some treat.)

(The teacher says) It’s fantastic! Do you like this game? (Children answer).

Now look at your desks. There are some pumpkin balls. White and black. You should put in this hat a white pumpkin if you liked the lesson and a black pumpkin if you didn’t like it.

(The teacher takes a hat and comes to the pupils. Children take pumpkins and put them into the hat)

(The teacher says) Great! Now let’s look at the hat and count our white and black pumpkins. Well done.

(Children put white or black pumpkins into the hat.)

(The teacher says) Now let’s count pumpkins

(Children count pumpkins)

(The teacher says) Now I see you liked the lesson. It’s great! And you really work hard and succeeded. You sang songs, played games, made presentations and, of course spoke English!

Well done! Now it’s time for our home task. You should make the presentation “Halloween”. You can use some information from the Internet.

So, our lesson is over. Goodbye, dear girls Goodbye, dear boys. Have a good day!

·  Праздник «Ночь Гая Фокса»

Цели проведения мероприятия:

Обучающая: Познакомить учащихся с традициями Великобритании на примере

праздника «Ночь Гая Фокса»;

Развивающая: Заинтересовать детей в изучении английского языка как средства

ознакомления с традициями англоязычных стран;

Воспитательная: Показать различное эмоциональное восприятие детских праздников в

Великобритании и в России.

Задачи:

1)Совершенствовать навыки ознакомительного чтения.

2) Отработать навыки ответов на вопросы.

3) Активизировать лексику по темам: «Внешность», «одежда», «глаголы движения».

Ход мероприятия.

1)выходят перед классом дети с чучелами Гая в руках и декламируют стихи:

P1: Remember, remember. The Fifth of November.

Gunpowder, treason and plot For I see no reason,

Why gunpowder treason Should ever be forgot.

P2: It`s Guy Fawkes, It`s Guy Fawkes! Laugh and light the Fireworks!

And what shell we do with him? Burn him!

2) Учитель предлагает детям прочитать тест о Гае Фоксе и ответить на вопросы по тексту.

On the 5th Novembers British boys and girls celebrate Bonfire Night, or Guy Fawkes Day.

They get and old suit or maybe an old pair if dads jeans and a T-shirt and fill them with straw or old newspapers. Then they make a head and draw a mouth, a nose and eyes on it. If they can get a hat, they put it on too. This dummy is called a «Guy».

The children stand with their «Guys» in the streets and ask people for money: «A penny foe the Guy, please». They spent the money on fireworks.

In the evening people make a big bonfire and burn « The Guy ». They set off the fireworks and sing: «It’s Guy Fawkes, It’s Guy Fawkes! Laugh and light the fireworks! And what shall we do with him? Burn him! »

Mothers are usually very busy on Guy Fawkes Day. They cook traditional toffee apples. These apples are very tasty and look like little bombs.

You want to know, or course, who Guy Fawkes was and what he did.

Today, wed call him a terrorist. On the 5th of November, 1605 he tried to kill King James I. He and his friends put a bomb under the Houses of Parliament in London. But the Kings men found the bomb – and they found Guy Fawkes too. They took him to the Tower of London and there the King`s men cut off his head.

1.  Is this story from the nineteenth century?

2.  Did Guy Fawkes and his friends decide to kill Kind James?

3.  Was the date the 11th of December 1605?

4.  Are the models called «guys»?

5.  Are ice-cream and salad popular on Bonfire Night?

3) Дети по очереди описывают чучела, которые они выполнили дома.

P: This guy is made of old dad`s suit. He is wearing a blue T-shirt and grey trousers

He has got a green hat and black shoes. His hear is yellow. His eyes are blue. He is funny.

4) Учитель отводит детей на улицу, где они сжигают чучело Гая и едят традиционные для этого праздника заранее приготовленные яблоки в карамели и печеную картошку с маслом и солью.

5) В качестве домашнего задания детям предлагается описать проведенный праздник в 6-8 предложениях и проиллюстрировать их.

·  Праздник «Счастливая осень»

Цели проведения мероприятия:

Обучающая: Заинтересовать учащихся в изучении английского

языка для описания погоды и природы осени. Развивающая: Развить навыки говорения в процессе творческой

подготовке проведения мероприятия

Воспитательная: Разговор о труде в саду и огороде осенью.

Задачи:

1) отработать лексику по теме «Погода», «Овощи и фрукты».

2) отработать навыки чтения

3) отработать навыки монологической речи

4) отработать навыки ответов на вопросы

Место проведения: Кабинет англ. языка

Оборудование: Осенние листья, осенние букеты, ягоды красной и черной рябины, желуди, грибы.

Ход мероприятия

1)  Перед детьми появляется учитель в костюме осени.

T: Hello, children. Glad to see you.

Ch: Hello, autumn.

Звучит музыка «Времена года - осень»

T: I come after summer, when days become cool. I bring fruit and vegetables and turn the leaves red, yellow and brown. Birds fly to the South, the rains begin. Do you know some rhymes about rains?

Дети под зонтиками читают стихи о дожде.

Ch1: Rain, rain, go away, Come again another day – Little Mary wants to play!

Ch2: Rain, rain, go to Spain, Never show your face again.

Ch3: Rain on the grass, And rain on the tree, Rain on the house – top, But not on me.

2)  Дети читают рассказ об осени и выполняют задания

Autumn is a beautiful season. It is the evening of the year.

It is a harvest time. There are a lot of fruit and vegetables in autumn:

Apples and pears, Plums and grapes, Carrots and cabbages,

Cucumbers and tomatoes. You can see all colours in the forest in autumn – the leaves are green, yellow, red and brown. We can pick up berries and mushrooms. Some animals store food for winter. They will not be hungry in the dark, cold months. Some animals grow thicker coats. They will be warm when winter comes. The days become shorter. It doesn’t show but it rains a lot.

1.  What color are the leaves in autumn?

2.  What colors is the grass?

3.  What fruit can you pick in autumn?

4.  Do the animals store food for winter?

5.  Does it often rain?

3)  Конкурс красоты «Miss Autumn»

T: A lot of girls nowadays dream to become models.

Today there is your fist chance to show yourself in this profession.

Перед классом по очереди выходят девочки в платьях, бусах, серьгах и браслетах, украшенных осенними листьями, желудями, ягодами рябины и шишками, рассказывают о своих необычных нарядах.

Girls: I like wearing mordent clothes. I would like to be a designer of clothes.

I like modern details. With it I look like a lady. I decorated my hair with strips and autumn flowers. I decorated my dress with yellow and red leaves.

My necklace is made of red rowans. My earrings are made of black rowans.

My bracelet is made of nuts. My handbag is decorated with acorns.

I decorated my shoes with cones. I think I look really nice and romantic.

В качестве домашнего задания ученикам предлагается описать свой сад на даче или двор в городе (Погода, растения, животные, люди).

·  День Святого Патрика

Цели проведения урока:

Обучающая: Познакомить учащихся с традициями проведения народных

праздников в Ирландии.

Развивающая: Развить разговорные навыки в процессе творческого общения

учеников друг с другом и учителем при проведении праздника.

Воспитательная: Активизировать у учащихся творческие способности при

подготовке и проведении праздника.

Задачи:

1) Активизировать лексику по теме «Внешность»

2) Закрепить лексику по теме «Еда»

3) Развить навыки ответов на вопросы и описания картинок

Оборудование: плакаты, рисунки, раздаточный материал, шляпы, шарики, игрушки, угощение, CD-магнитола, CD с ирландской музыкой

Место проведения: класс

Ход праздника

1) Дети наряжаются в заранее заготовленные костюмы, соответствующие дню Святого Патрика: зеленые одежды, зеленые шляпы с зелеными волосами, прикрепляют эмблему праздника «Трилистник» и хором декламируют:

There was a young woman from Clare Who woke up one day with green hair.

She said, “It’s fantastic! I can honour St Patrick!

It will be so funny and rare”.

2) Дети читают предложения, выведенные на экран, рассматривают фотографии и отвечают на вопросы учителя:

Irish people in many countries celebrate this day. They wear green clothes, play Irish music, have parades and wear shamrock, the Irish emblem.

T: When do people celebrate St. Patrick’s day? - On the 17th of March.

T: What colour of clothes do they wear? - Green clothes.

T: Do they play Irish music? - Yes, they do.

In New York, where there are lots of Irish peoples, everything is green on this day: the food, the beer and people’s hair!

T: What colour is the food, the beer and people’s hair? - It’s green.

In Chicago, where there are lots of Irish people too, even the river is green.

T: Is the river green in Chicago?

3) Далее на экране появляются фотографии праздника в разных городах, и дети описывают их.

P1: People have parades and wear shamrock, the Irish emblem.

P2: Cats, dogs and even hamsters wear green clothes this day.

P3: People have green cakes, green apples and even green drinks this day.

P4: People play and dance Irish music.

4) Дети оформляют заранее заготовленные поздравительные открытки своим друзьям, родителям и родственникам.

Для помощи учащимся учитель выводит подобные открытки на экран.

5) Далее учитель организует праздничное шествие учащихся по школе, аналогичное тому, какое проводится в городах Ирландии.

Участники парада, одетые во все зеленое, заходят в классы, угощают всех зелеными кексами, яблоками и др., дарят поздравительные открытки и эмблемы (трилистник) и танцуют под ирландскую музыку национальные танцы.

Дети других классов усваивают простые движения под музыку и присоединяются к танцам.

6) В качестве домашнего задания учащимся предлагается провести праздник святого Патрика в своей семье или на даче. Результаты необходимо представить в виде презентации на флеш-карте или в виде рисунка с описанием праздника.

4 Праздник Масленица

Цели проведения:

Обучающая: Познакомить учащихся с традициями проведения

праздников на примере Масленицы

Развивающая: Развить навыки говорения в процессе творческого

общения учеников друг с другом и учителем при

проведении праздника

Воспитательная:

Активизировать у учащихся творческие способности

при подготовке и проведении праздника

Задачи:

1. Активизировать лексические единицы по теме «Времена года»

2. Отработать навыки ответов на вопросы в настоящем и прошедшем простых временах

3. Помочь учащимся развить навыки общения

4. Закрепить лексику по теме «Еда»

Оборудование: плакаты, рисунки, раздаточный материал, чучело масленицы, блины

Место проведения: класс, спортивный стадион у школы

Ход мероприятия

1.Класс делится на две команды:” winter “ и ” spring”.По просьбе учителя дети называют все времена года и обсуждают погоду в каждом сезоне, затем желающие рассказывают стихотворения и поют песни.

Р1:Spring is green. Summer is bright. Autumn is yellow. Winter is white.

P2: Green for spring And blue for summer As the days go by: Gold for autumn, White for winter,

Old year’s gone. Good bye!

2.Учитель задаёт команде “Winter”вопросы о погоде минувшей зимой.

-  Was it cold?

-  Was it windy?

-  What colour were the trees?

-  What colour was the ground?

-  What birds did you meet?

Далее учитель предлагает вспомнить зимние месяцы и рассказать о них стихи.

December dying sees the birth of the New Year and all its birth.

January comes with frost and snow,

February brings us winds and blow.

3.Учитель задаёт команде «Spring» вопросы о природе весной.

- Is it sunny? Is it wet? What colour are the trees? What colour are the flowers?

4. Учитель предлагает вспомнить весенние месяцы и рассказать о них.

March has winds and happy hours, April brings us sun and showers,

Pretty is the month of May, It has flowers sweet and gay.

По просьбе учителя команда «Winter» называет зимние праздники.

(Новый год, Рождество, 23февраля).

Команда «Spring» называет весенние праздники. (Женский день, День Победы)

Учитель предлагает решить, зимний ли или весенний праздник Масленица. Дети делают вывод, что это праздник окончания зимы и начало весны.

5.В сопровождении учителя дети идут на улицу, сжигают заранее заготовленное чучело зимы, едят блины, водят хороводы и поют песню “Pancakes’’

1. Закрепить лексику по теме «Еда»

2. Отработать навыки чтения

3. Развить навыки кратких и полных ответов на вопросы

Оборудование: плакаты, рисунки, магнитола, CD-диск, доска, посуда, ингредиенты для приготовления пасхальных блюд

Место проведения: кабинет английского языка

Ход праздника:

1)Учитель рассказывает о празднике Пасха.

Easter is always on Sunday. But it can come as early on March 22 or as late as April 25.

The bells would ring, people would congratulate and kiss one another, go to each other houses and exchange gifts, including painted eggs. At Easter the Sun shines brightly.

Let us have a talk about the weather this day.

T: What season is it? - It is spring. T: Is it cold?-No, it is not.

T: Is it cool? - Yes, it is. T: Is it raining? - No, it is not.

T: Is it windy?-No it is not. T: What colour are the trees? - They are grey.

T: What colour is the sky? - It is blue.

On that day people decorate eggs. Kulich is a tasty Easter loaf floured with sweet and raisins.

Paskha is a ritual dish made from sour cream, sugar, eggs, raisins, butter and others.

Дети делятся на две группы, и каждый из них получает свой собственный рецепт приготовления пасхи. Учитель раздаёт им набор продуктов и помогает в приготовлении пасхи.

Recipe 1 Honey Paskha

1) Put some cottage cheese in the bowl. 2) Add some butter and mix them.

3) Take an egg and separate the white from yolk. 4) Add the yolk and mix.

5) Put some cream and mix.6) Add some sugar.

7) Cut some raisins into slices and add them.

8) Wash and cut some apples into slices and add them.9) Cut some walnuts into small pieces.

10) Put them on top.11) Add some vanilla sugar.

12) Add some honey.13) Decorate your Paskha with raspberries.

Pecipe2 Chocolate Paskha

5)Дети достают пасхальные яйца и соревнуются, разбивая их друг о друга.

6) В качестве домашнего задания детям предлагается написать свой собственный рецепт приготовления пасхи и принести рисунок или её фотографию.

1.Класс делится на две команды:” winter “ и ” spring”.По просьбе учителя дети называют все времена года и обсуждают погоду в каждом сезоне, затем желающие рассказывают стихотворения и поют песни.

4. Учитель предлагает вспомнить весенние месяцы и рассказать о них.

По просьбе учителя команда «Winter» называет зимние праздники.

(Новый год, Рождество, 23февраля).

Команда «Spring» называет весенние праздники.

(Женский день, День Победы)

Учитель предлагает решить, зимний ли или весенний праздник Масленица. Дети делают вывод, что это праздник окончания зимы и начало весны.

5.В сопровождении учителя дети идут на улицу, сжигают заранее заготовленное чучело зимы, едят блины, водят хороводы и поют песню “Pancakes’’

Цели:

Обучающая: Формировать навыки говорения на английском языке

Развивающая: Заинтересовать детей в изучении английского языка

Воспитательная: Воспитать толерантность при выполнении заданий в

необычной обстановке с выполнением разнообразных

заданий.

Задачи: 1. Активизировать лексический запас по теме “Рождество

и Новый Год”.

2. Отработать навыки составления предложений в Present Simple.

3. Отработать навыки кратких и полных ответов на вопросы.

Место проведения: три кабинета английского языка

Оборудование: компьютер, мультимедийная установка, магнитофон, аудиозаписи, раздаточный материал.

Ход мероприятия

В начале урока класс разделяют на три команды.

Каждая команда получает сопроводительную карточку, в которой указан маршрут следования.

Время прохождения каждой станции 10-12 минут. Каждая станция находится в отдельном кабинете и проводится одним учителем.

1. Станция «A letter to Santa»

Учащиеся пишут письмо Санта Клаусу. Если они справляются с предложенной задачей, то Санта Клаус (переодетый ученик) дарит им указанные в письме предметы, доставая их из импровизированных носков.

2. Станция «Christmas words»

Учащиеся расширяют лексический запас по теме «Рождество и Новый Год» и выполняют разнообразные весёлые задания, связанные с составлением, нахождением и чтением слов.

3. Станция «Christmas is coming»

Учащиеся просматривают презентацию и поют рождественские песни.
