1.  You arrive late for your lecture because of a traffic Jam. Your students have been waiting for you for 20 min­utes. Make an apology and explain the reason.

2.  You had a dental appointment but forgot all about it. Phone up your dentist to apologize.

3.  You're walking through the park when a small dog runs up to you and playfully nips your ankle. The owner rushes up and apologizes profusely. Accept his/her apology and try to reassure him/her that you are not hurt.

4.  You have to break a promise to go to a party be­cause you have to complete an important report. Call your friend and apologize. Your friend accepts your apology.

Методика проведения контрольных мероприятий.

Контрольные мероприятия проводятся в 2 этапа:

·  первый этап текущий контроль, который включает упражнения.

·  второй этап подразумевает проверку знаний студентов посредством тестов в течение полусеместровой аттестации и выполнение контрольных работ по пройденным разделам курса. Тест и контрольные работы направлены на отслеживание уровня знания студентов по темам, обсуждаемым в течение аудиторных занятий. Результаты данного мероприятия покажут и преподавателю и студентам их уровень знания.

Методические рекомендации по организации изучения дисциплины.

Дисциплина «Речевая коммуникация» изучается в 1 семестре. На курс отводится 32 часов. Работа по данной дисциплине направлена на развитие речевых навыков.

При изучении курса студенты знакомятся с речевыми формулами (на уровне автоматизмов), позволяющими более успешно осуществлять общение на английском языке.

Работа по данной дисциплине направлена на развитие и совершенствование навыков устной речи. Лекционный материал сопровождается мультимедийной поддержкой. Семинарские занятия преимущественно направлены на устную практику. Предусмотрена система домашних заданий и заданий творческого характера.
