ПОЯСНИТЕЛЬНАЯ ЗАПИСКА
Для данного этапа обучения английскому языку характерно равноценное внимание к формированию речевых умений в устной речи и чтении.
В 5-6 классах акцент делается на повышение роли речевой инициативы учащихся, особенно в условиях игры и ситуаций, предполагающих творческие монологические высказывания.
В области чтения завершается этап формирования техники чтения вслух и про себя. Более отчетливыми становятся техники различного вида чтения: с полным пониманием прочитанного, с пониманием основного содержания и с извлечением необходимой информации.
При обучении письму больше внимания уделяется совершенствованию орфографических навыков и развитию умения связной письменной речи.
На этом этапе обучения более целенаправленно организуется работа по аудированию. Учащимся предлагаются различные тексты для прослушивания: монологические и диалогические. Однако практически нет заданий на проверку понимания услышанного. В предлагаемых тестах сделана попытка привить учащимся первые навыки выполнения заданий по аудированию.
В 5-6 классах учащиеся расширяется спектр общеучебных и специальных умений, таких как работа с двуязычным словарем, использование справочников учебника /грамматического и лингвострановедческого/.
Также продолжается работа по формированию интеллектуальных и речевых способностей учащихся.
Большая часть лексико-грамматического материала предназначена для двустороннего овладения /рецептивного и продуктивного/. Проверить уровень владения этим материалом легче с помощью тестового контроля.
В предлагаемы тестах представлен материал для проверки различных видов речевой деятельности: чтения, аудирования, письма. Тесты проводятся на заключительном уроке по изучении раздела учебника. В 5 классе изучается 4 раздела, соответственно проводятся 4 тестовые работы. Каждая работа содержит именно тот лексический и грамматический материал, который изучался в данном разделе учебника. К сожалению, те тестовые работы, которые даются в конце каждого раздела учебника не полностью отражают изученный материал и совсем не дают заданий на элементы чтения и аудирования. С помощью представленных тестов можно определить пробелы в знаниях каждого учащегося и уровень овладения учебным материалом более четко.
