Изучению грамматики всегда уделяю огромное внимание, так как считаю эту часть работы очень важной и значимой. Без должного её изучения невозможно понять говорящего, выразить свою мысль в устной речи и письме, а также неверно истолковать прочитанное. Поэтому грамматика занимает особое место в нашей работе, так как значительно облегчает последующую за этим практику во всех видах речевой деятельности.
Comparative/Superlative forms of adjectives (Spotlight 7).
Авторы дополняют данную тему, изученную в 6 классе, сравнительными конструкциями. Однако, представляют их однобоко, лишь конструкциями «as…..as,/ not as….as», хотя в предлагаемых учащимся упражнениях встречаются и другие сравнительные конструкции, которые хорошо описаны в грамматическом справочнике в конце учебника. Поэтому предлагаю учащимся свою схему работы: детально, логично, от простого к сложному, понятно, мобильно, продуктивно, интересно. Апробировано! Результативно!
Каждый учащийся получает комплект дидактического материала.
1. Учитель пишет на доске сравнительную конструкцию «as….as» и, не переводя её, представляет учащимся несколько простых предложений для перевода:
I’m as tall as you. /Nina is as smart as Tanya. / Girls are as good at computers as boys.
2. Упражнение №1 в дидактических материалах (устно).
Make phrases with the adjectives: молодой, счастливый, хороший, высокий, смешной, удобный, трудный, плохой, ужасный, мокрый.
3. Упражнение №2 в дидактических материалах (письменно, затем проверка).
Complete the sentences using «as….as»:
- This book is (interesting) that one. Mike is (short) Peter. This exercise is (difficult) those ones. I’m (good at Math) my brother. Today is (cold) it was yesterday. Your test is (excellent) Dina’s. We’re (smart) our friends.

5. Учитель подписывает к сравнительной структуре «as….as» отрицательную частицу not (not as….as) и предлагает перевести её (как правило, затруднений нет никаких).

6. Упражнение № 5 в дидактических материалах (письменно, затем проверка).

8. Упражнение №7 : use exercise 5 to say “no so….as”(устно).
9. Упражнение 8 в дидактических материалах (письменно).
