Организация внеклассной работы по иностранным языкам.

Одной из самых главных педагогических задач учителя иностранных языков гимназии №3 г. Белгорода считают развитие и поддержание мотивации к изучению иностранных языков. Решение этой задачи требует от учителей постоянной, кропотливой работы в обновлении материала, поисках новой информации, разработке интересных внеклассных мероприятий.

Огромный интерес у учащихся вызывает совместная работа с учителями в подготовке и проведении инсценировок сказок на английском языке, конкурсов на английском и немецком языках, вечеров поэзии, посвящённых великим поэтам Великобритании, Германии и России. Традиционными в гимназии стали выступления старших школьников перед ребятами из начальной школы на иностранных языках. Огромной популярностью среди учеников младших классов пользуются инсценировки на английском языке известных сказок. Старшеклассники помимо инсценировок предлагают детям различные игры, популярные среди сверстников из англо – говорящих стран.

Сегодня мы предлагаем сценарии некоторых сказок на английском языке, разработки внеклассных мероприятий, которые с успехом прошли в нашей гимназии.

The Ant and the Grasshopper

Characters:

Scene 1

Story teller: it is summer now. The day is hot and sunny. An Ant is working near it’s little house.

Ant: Oh, how hot it is. I’m very tired. But I must work. Winter will come soon.

Story – teller: And who is coming here? It is a Grasshopper.

Grasshopper: How do you do, Ant? What are you doing?

Ant: How do you do, Grasshopper? I am working.

Grasshopper: Why are you working? The day is hot. Stop working. Let’s lie in the sun.

Ant: No, no. Winter will come soon. Where shall I get food then?

Grasshopper: Winter will not come soon. It is summer now. It is so nice in the fields. Let’s go to the river.

Ant: No, I can’t. And what do you do all the time?

Grasshopper: I dance and sing all day long. Let’s dance and sing together.

Ant: No, no. I have no time to dance and sing. The winter is long and cold. I must be ready for it.

Grasshopper: I don’t like winter. I like summer. Look how can I dance. I don’t like to work in summer.

Ant: But you must. What will you eat in winter?

Grasshopper: I don’t want to think of winter. Good bye, Ant! I shall sing and dance.

Ant: Good bye, Grasshopper. You don’t want to work now. You will have nothing to eat in winter.

Scene 2

Story – Teller: It is winter now. It is very cold. The sun doesn’t shine. The Grasshopper is cold and hungry.

Grasshopper: Oh, how cold it is. I am cold and hungry. What can I do? Oh, here is Ant’s house. ( He knocks at the door.)

Ant: Who is there?

Grasshopper: It’s your friend, the Grasshopper.

Ant: What do you want?

Grasshopper: let me in, please! I am cold and hungry. Give me something to eat.

Ant: You danced and sang all summer, Grasshopper. Now dance and sing all winter. Good bye! ( he closes the door)

Story – Teller: You see, children, what happens, when you do not want to work in time.

Ant: All right! Come in! That will be a lesson for you. Will you work in summer?

Grasshopper: Oh, I am ready to work even in winter! Thank you, my dear friend!

Three Bears

Characters:

·  Father Bear

·  Mother Bear

·  Baby Bear

·  Little Girl

Scene 1

Three bears are sitting at the table, drinking milk.

Mother Bear: Take your cup, Father!

Father Bear: Thank you!

Mother bear: Take your little cup, baby!

Baby Bear: Thank you, Mummy dear…. Mother, it is too hot!

Father Bear: Then let us go for a walk.

Scene 2

A little girl comes in and looks around

Little girl: Whose room can it be? I am hungry. Oh, this milk is too hot for me! Oh, this milk is too cold for me! This milk is just right for me.

Scene 3

The Bears enter the room and take there places at the table.

Father Bear: My cup is not full.

Mother Bear: And my cup is not full.

Baby Bear: And my cup is empty. Oh, and who is this? A little girl!

Father, Mother, Bear: Let us eat her up!

Little Girl: No, you won’t.

Runs away. The Bears try to catch her, but fall down.

Mother Bear: It is your fault, Father! You fell and I fell too.

Baby Bear: And I fell because you fell.

All together: And the little Girl run away. Oh, Oh, Oh!

Three little kittens

(a fairy – tale)

Characters:

Scene

Author: The three little kittens

Lost there mittens

And they began to cry.

1-st kitten: Oh, Mother, dear,

2 – d kitten: We very much fear

3 – d kitten: That we have lost our mittens!

Cat: Lost your mittens,

You naughty kittens!

Then you will have no pie.

( The kittens go away)

Author: The three little kittens

Found there mittens,

And they began to cry.

( The kittens run in)

Three little kittens: ( together)

Oh, Mother, dear,

1-st kitten: See here,

2 – d kitten: See here,

3 – d kitten: See, we have found our mittens.

Cat: Oh, you are good kittens!

Put on your mittens,

And you will have some pie.

( The cat gives them a pie)

But I smell a mouse close by.

( All together) We smell a mouse close by. Good bye.

( The cat and the kittens leave the stage).

Characters:

Scene

There is a bench in the middle of the stage. Three boys come up to the bench and sit down on it. They look tired.

Pete: What a nice football game it was!

Nick: I am very tired. I ran so quickly!

Mike: let us meet in the evening.

They saw an old woman. She walks with difficulty. She has a walking stick in one hand and a bag in another hand.

Mike: Look at this old woman. She is very funny. She can’t walk at all.

Nick: She is very funny. ( he and Mike began to laugh)

Pete: ( jumps from the bench and runs to the old lady) Do you live far from here? Let me help you to carry the bag.

Old woman: Thank you very much. It is very kind of you. ( Pete takes the bag and goes away with the old woman)

Nick: He knows her. She lives in his house.

Mike: I think she is her Grandmother.

( Pete comes back)

Nick: Is that old woman your Grandmother?

Pete: No, she isn’t.

Mike: Does she live in your house?

Pete: No, she doesn’t.

Mike: What is she?

Pete; I don’t know her, Mike.

Nick: What is she then?

Pete: I don’t know her at all. She is just an old lady.

Mother: Polly, dear, please go to your Aunt and take this bag to her! I put a nice cake into it. Be careful!

Polly (not looking up): All right, mother. Is is Auntie’s birthday today. I’ll take the cake to her.

SCENE II

Polly: Hello, Ann!

Ann: Hello, Polly! I wanted to see you so much! Where are you going?

Polly: I am going to my aunt. I am carrying her a present. She has a birthday today. My mother has made a very nice cake for her.

Ann: Oh, how nice! Now look here. I want to tell you about my family’s plans to summer.

Polly: What plans you have? Where are you going?

Ann: My mother, father and I are going to the South.

Polly: Will you go by train?

Ann: Oh no, guess how we shall go there.

Polly: I know, you will go by bus.

Ann: No-no. We shall go by car.

Polly: But you have no car!

Ann: Yes we have. Now we have a beautiful car. Do you want to go with us?

Polly: Oh yes. I do. But I must ask my mother Mother’s permission. I shall run to my Aunt now and then I shall go back home and ask my mother about it.

Ann: All right. If she lets you go, come to my place.

Polly: Good. So long!

SCENE III

Polly: Good afternoon, Auntie! You know, my friend Ann asks me to go to the South by car with her family.

Aunt: Good afternoon Polly! I think it is very interesting to go to South by car.

Polly: Dear Auntie, my mother and I wish you many happy returns of the day! Here is a nice cake for your birth day. Mother has made it for you.

Aunt: Thanks your Polly. Oh what is this? Oh what a beautiful cat! I wanted to have a nice cat. Thank you very much.

Polly: And where is the cake? …. Oh I understand. The cake is at home in another bag. I’m sorry, dear Auntie.

Aunt: It’s all right! I like this present better. And you may eat my cake together with your friend Ann before you going to the South.

Polly: All right, Auntie, if you like my cat, I present it to you. And now I must run home and tell mother what has happened. Good-bye!

Aunt: Good-bye, dear! Give my love to Mother.
