Талисманом Универсиады в Казани выбран котенок крылатого снежного барса, названный Юни. Снежный барс — национальный символ Татарстана, стилизованный крылатый ирбис изображён на государственном гербе республики. Барс был символом булгарских царей. Этот зверь был тотемом булгарского племени барсилов, составлявшего основную группу населения Волжской Булгарии. Культ снежного барса уходит в глубокую древность и отчетливо проявляется в скифо-сакскую эпоху. В казанском зоопарке живут два снежных барса — самец Тамерлан и самка Сильва.

-All right. Go north on …Street to … . You can't miss the large supermarket there. Turn left there. Continue on … Avenue to … Street. Make a right turn and go to the middle of the block. I'll wait for you in front of the house.
