Conditionals I
Урок 1
Цель: развитие и совершенствование грамматических навыков.
Сопутствующие задачи: развитие навыков чтения и письма.
Ход урока.
I Введение.
1. Учитель: English grammar is a great world of interesting phenomena. Our today’s lesson is devoted to one of them - Conditionals I. I’d like you to read the rhyme written on the board, point out the grammar structure with Conditionals I and explain its usage.
If you come to me at3, you will have a mug of tea.
If you come to me at 4, you will get a cup of coffee.
If you come to me at 5, you will have a piece of pie.
If you come to me at 6, you will have some beans and peas.
If you come to me at 7, you will have a slice of melon.
If you come to me at 8, you will get a hunk of bread.
If you come to me at 9, you will have a glass of wine.
If you come to me at 10, you will be given NOTHING THEN.

2.Учитель: Let’s play a grammar game “To make predictions”
Учащиеся получают карточки с вариантами разрезанного на части материала, данного ниже, и пытаются найти партнера, составляя единое предложение. Полученный вариант зачитывается всему классу.

II Основная часть урока.
Учитель: You’re going to read a story. It is called `Ubu and the fire`.
Pre-reading
Try to predict who its main characters are.
Answer my questions:
- Have you ever seen pumas?
-What do pumas eat?
-What do monkeys eat?
-Can a puma eat a monkey?
-Who do you think Ubu is?
-What is on fire in this story?
While-reading
Read the text and say what happens in the story.
In the middle of a forest, a shy old man lives alone in a hut next to a wide river.
There are three things Ubu loves. First, there is the Kroola plant. This is a fantastic plant with big leaves and flowers. Every morning it produces a delicious Kroola fruit. Then there is his friendly pet puma, Claw, who has got beautiful black fur and green eyes. Claw loves eating meat.
The last thing is Kiki, the monkey, She is intelligent and energetic. Kiki loves eating fruit and leaves, especially Kroola plant fruit and leaves.
Every day Kiki and Ubu go fishing together in Ubu`s canoe in the evening. Ubu likes sitting
with Claw and Kiki. He strokes Claw, plays games with Kiki and eats his Kroola fruit.
One day a terrible thing happens. The sky is full of smoke and Ubu can hear the screams of frightened animals and birds. The forest is on fire and there are flames all around the hut. Ubu wants to escape, but the only way is across the river and Ubu`s canoe is too small. He can only carry one thing with him each time he crosses the river. If he takes two things, the canoe will sink. Poor Ubu puts his head in his hands and tries to work out what to do. If I leave Kiki and the Kroola plant together, Kiki will eat the plant. If I leave Claw and Kiki together, Claw will eat Kiki. So I can’t leave them together`.
Ubu is angry with the fire. `How can I take them all across the river? ` he shouts. But then he sits down and works out the answer.
Post-reading
-Write these names on four pieces of paper: UBU, KROOLA PLANT, KIKI, CLAW.
-Draw a RIVER on another piece of paper.
-Imagine that you’re Ubu.
-Pair off.
-Move the pieces backwards and forwards across the `river`
-Find out the answer to your problem.
-Use CONDITIONALS Ⅰ.
