Сейчас 7.30. Френк завтракает и слушает музыку по радио. Его жена Алиса несет поднос (tray) с кофе. Сейчас 11.30. Алиса и её друзья пьют утренний кофе. Они разговаривают о своих мужьях. Одна из них одета в очень интересную шляпку. Сейчас 12 часов. Френк кушает в заводской столовой. Много людей стоят в очереди. Они ждут обеда. На улице идет дождь. У Френка и его друзей все еще перерыв (have a break). Они стоят и разговаривают о футбольном матче этим вечером. Сейчас 8 часов вечера. Френк и Алиса дома. Френк смотрит телевизор, а его жена и дочь – нет. Сюзанна читает, а её мама пишет. Френк смотрит футбольный матч. Сюзанна разговаривает с Томом. Он звонит из Парижа. «Ты хорошо проводишь время? Идет дождь?» – она хочет знать. Френк и его жена все ещё смотрят телевизор. «С кем она разговаривает?» – спрашивает Френк.

They are talking about their husbands. One of them is wearing a very strange hat. It is 12 o'clock. Frank is eating in the factory canteen. A lot of men are standing in a queue. They are waiting for their lunch. It is raining outside. Frank and his friends are still having a break. They are standing and talking about a football match this evening. It is 8 o'clock in the evening. Frank and Alice are at home. Frank is watching television but his wife and his daughter Susan are san is reading and her mother is writing. Frank is watching a football match. It is 11 o'san is talking to Tom. He is phoning from Paris. "Are you having a good time? What's the weather like? Is it raining?" she wants to know. Frank and his wife are still watching television. "Who is she talking to?" Frank is asking.
