Summary: Echocardiographic investigation was performed in 72 patients with non-ST-elevation acute coronary syndrome. In the two thirds left ventricle local motion disturbances were revealed and relationship between them and repeated coronary events was exposed.

Summary: The article represents the results of a research of peripheral blood in non-native inhabitants of the Far North. It was stated that indices of red blood were higher than physiological normative. Monocyte and lymphocyte number exceeded upper normative border, granulocytes, on the contrary, did not reach lower normative border. It was also stated that along with age and prolongation of period of living in the Far North a number of indices of peripheral blood changed.

Summary. The article represents the normative ranges of spontaneous and induced chemiluminescence of blood leucocytes in native (scanty) and non-native population of the Far North. It was stated that leucocyte functional activity at inductor (latex) exposure was higher in native inhabitants.
