Summary: To study cognitive function disorders in patient with epilepsy methods event-related potential P300 was registered at auditory and visual stimuli. Statistical analysis of the registered results of the latent period (LP) of N2 and P300 components, P300 amplitude within the period of the test and consequent time intervals of 167 specimens during the test. Statistically significant increase of component P300 latency and reducing the amplitude P300 of to visual and auditory stimuli were registered comparing with normal parameters. Sensitivity of the method increased when acoustic and visual stimuli were used in combination with the additional analysis of time dynamics (LP) of N2 and P300 components, P300 amplitude during the test.
