Планы практических занятий и методические рекомендации к ним

Практические занятия по иностранному языку со студентами неязыковых факультетов института проводятся на материале базовых текстов, тематически соответствующим содержанию итогового экзамена по дисциплине. Студент может разнообразить содержание базового текста информацией по теме из дополнительных источников, используемых преподавателем на практических занятиях или найденной самостоятельно. К базовым текстам разработаны задания на развитие навыков чтения (ознакомительного, просмотрового, изучающего), развитие вокабуляра студента, навыков устной (диалогической и монологической) и письменной речи, страноведческого кругозора, общеучебных навыков (извлечения информации). Работа над разговорной темой должна завершаться монологическим высказыванием студента на заданную тему.

THE TEACHERS TRAINING INSTITUTE

1. The Teachers Training Institute in Ishim was opened in 1954.

2. In June 1990 it was named after Pyotr Pavlovitch Ershov.

3. The Institute has two departments: the Day-time department and the Extra­mural one.

4. It trains the teachers of the Russian language and Literature, Physics and Mathematics, the teachers of primary school, specialists of preschool educa­tion, handicraft teachers, the teachers of Biology, Geography and Ecology and the teachers of Foreign languages.

5. Now about 4000 students study at 7 faculties of the Institute.

6. They are: the faculty of the Russian language and Literature, the faculty of Physics and Mathematics, the Pedagogical faculty, the faculty of Technology and Business, the faculty of Biology, Geography and Ecology, the faculty of Foreign languages and the faculty of Physical Training and Sport.

7. Many students of the Institute study by correspondence.

8. The Institute has 6 buildings.

9. Well-equipped laboratories, workshops, studies, a large library, a reading-room, a gym and a dining-room are at the students' disposal.
