Тема занятия «Stomatological Faculty. (KrasSMU Institute of Stomatology)»

2. Форма организации учебного процесса практическое занятие.

3. Актуальность темы обеспечивается, прежде всего, ее профессиональной направленностью. Информация о стоматологическом факультете представляет интерес для студентов-первокурсников. Кроме того, в ходе изучения темы рассматриваются правила составления Curriculum Vitae, знание которых является одной из важных характеристик современного специалиста.

4. Цели обучения:

Общая цель: студент должен обладать ОК-1,ОК-5,ОК-6,ПК-50.

Учебная цель

Знать: лексический минимум лексических единиц общего и терминологического характера по теме занятия.

Уметь: использовать терминологические единицы и терминоэлементы по теме, кратко рассказать о КрасГМУ, Институте стоматологии, написать свое Curriculum Vitae, правильно употреблять в речи предлоги места, движения, времени, а также основные сочетания глаголов с предлогами.

Владеть: иностранным языком в объеме, необходимом для возможности получения информации из зарубежных источников, навыками изучающего и просмотрового видов чтения.

5. План изучения темы:

5.1. Контроль исходного уровня знаний.

Фронтальный контроль усвоения лексики по теме предыдущего занятия; Проверка усвоения материала с помощью вопросно-ответной беседы.

5.2. Основные понятия и положения темы.

Объяснение правил составления резюме (Curriculum Vitae) на основе примеров

резюме.

В США резюме принято называть Resume, в Европе - CV (Curriculum Vitae).

Стандартная форма резюме европейского уровня включает в себя 6 основных частей:

1. Личная информация (Personal Information)

2. Цель (Objective)

3. Опыт работы (Work Experience)

4. Образование (Education)

5. Специальные навыки (Additional Skills)

6. Рекомендации (References)

Основные моменты, которые должны быть учтены при составлении резюме:

1. Во-первых, весь опыт работы, оплачиваемый и неоплачиваемый, с
полной занятостью и по совместительству.

2. Образование: получение ученых степеней, свидетельств об
окончании различных учебных заведений.

3. Какая-либо дополнительная деятельность: членство в различных
организациях, служба в армии и т. д.

4. Резюме следует начать с личной информации (Personal Information).
Напишите полностью свое имя, укажите адрес, телефон, электронный адрес.
Следующим пунктом является цель устройства на данную должность
(Objective). В нескольких словах опишите работу, которой вы хотите
заняться и причины, по которым вы считаете свою кандидатуру подходящей
для нее. Представьте ваши самые важные достижения в данной области.
Рекламируя себя с наилучшей стороны, показывая, в чем именно вы
преуспели, вы будете выгодно отличаться от других претендентов на
данную должность, просто перечисляющих свои способности. Рассказывая о
себе, используйте больше прилагательных, это сделает текст более ярким и
иллюстративным, вот краткий перечень наиболее употребляемых слов:
directed, led managed, supervised; achieved, delivered, drove, generated, grew,
increased, initiated, instituted and launched; cut, decreased, reduced, slashed;
accelerated, created, developed, established, implemented, instituted, performed,
pioneered, planned, produced, re-engineered, restructured, saved and transformed.

Избегайте таких клише, как: Dynamic, people-oriented, results-oriented, self-motivated, hands-on leader, visionary.

5. После этого перейдите к описанию опыта работы (Work Experience).
Начать нужно с вашего последнего места работы. Необходимо дать название
компании, род ее деятельности, вашу должность. Рассказывая о вашем
предыдущем опыте, не стесняйтесь упомянуть о своих достижениях.
Перечисляйте места своей предыдущей работы в обратном хронологическомпорядке, начиная с последнего.

6. Распространенной ошибкой является построение резюме по "функциональному" принципу, разделяя весь опыт работы на группы в зависимости от рода деятельности. Это может стать настоящим провалом для претендента на работу, так как работодатель может и не прочитать его резюме. Не указывайте причин смены работы, это может выглядеть как оправдание или указать на ваши возможные недостатки. В пункте, посвященном вашему образованию (Education) опишите когда, какое учебное заведение вы окончили, какую получили специальность. Не забудьте перечислить все дополнительные квалификации, стажировки, относящиеся к той должности, которую вы хотели бы получить.

7. Дополнительная информация, такая как уровень владения иностранными языками, умение работать с компьютером, наличие водительских прав и тому подобная, должна быть перечислена в пункте специальные навыки (Additional Skills), если она имеет отношение к вашим обязанностям в новой должности.

8. Обычно резюме заканчивается пунктом рекомендации (References), в
котором нужно назвать несколько людей с предыдущей работы (желательно
непосредственных начальникоЗ) с указанием должности, названием
организации, контактным телефоном, электронным адресом, которые могли
бы за вас поручиться. Выпускники вузов, не имеющие опыта работы, могут
назвать в качестве поручителя декана или заведующего кафедрой.

9. Последний пункт можно заменить фразой "REFERENCES: Available
upon request."

10. Объем резюме молодого специалиста не должен превышать 1
страницы, если же у вас за плечами большой стаж работы, информацию о
себе нужно разместить не более чем на двух страницах.

7. Рекомендации по выполнению НИРС.

Для выполнения НИР студента необходимо:

Приложение 1 Teaching Dentistry in KrasSMU Institute of Stomatology

The course of studies at the Institute of Stomatology lasts five years. During the first year the students master the so-called preclinical subjects: physics, mathematics, chemistry, biology and ecology, psychology and pedagogics (or educational psychology), human anatomy, Latin, English, history of medicine, bioethics.

In the second year some special subjects are introduced: anatomy of head and neck, cytology of the oral cavity organs, orthopaedic propedeutics, and oral therapy propedeutics. At the end of the fourth term the students have a two-week practical training at a hospital. They work as assistants of ward and procedure nurses.

In the third year they have subjects both in general medicine (microbiology, virology, general surgery, anaesthesiology, etc., and in stomatology (orthopaedics, oral therapy, propedeutic oral surgery, prophylaxis and epidemiology of dental diseases). At the end of the third year of studies the students have the second two-week practical training during which they work as assistants of dentists in oral therapy.

The fourth year is characterized by two practical trainings (at the end of the seventh and eighth terms). They master the skills of dental surgeon and dental orthopedist. Besides special subjects the curriculum includes cycles in obstetrics, infectious diseases, otorhynolaryngology, neurology, dermatovenereology, ophthalmology, psychiatry and narcology (the science of narcotics), etc.

In the fifth year of studies the students learn the specialty "Children's dentistry" and have a two-week practical training at schools and kindergartens.After five years of studies the students master all the dental specialties and after passing final state examinations they receive a diploma. Those who want to continue their studies can have two years of residency and three years in the post-graduate courses. At the end of five years the students are experienced in basic stomatology and capable of independent practice both in state-owned dental polyclinics and in private surgeries and climes. •

The tasks of the Institute of Stomatology are:

- teaching of students, clinical interns, clinical residents and post-graduate students in the specialty "stomatology/dentistry";

- introduction of innovation technologies in the teaching process;

- improvement of professional skills of stomatologists / dentists, dental technicians;

- rendering of highly qualified dental aid to the population of Krasnoyarsk and the Krasnoyarsky Territory;

- conducting research in the field of stomatology / dentistry. The main research trends of the Institute are:

- prophylaxis of dental diseases;

- the study of caries prevalence, periodontal disease, elaboration of modern techniques of treating these diseases;

- diagnosis and treatment of the most spread diseases of the oral cavity;

- elaboration of rehabilitation system for patients with various developmental defects, anomalies and deformations of the lower jaw in children and adults. The Institute cooperates with some companies known all over the world:

"Kerrhawe" (USA), "3M-ESPE"(USA), "DMG" (Germany), "Dentaurum" (Germany), "Colgate" (USA), "Wrigley's"(USA), Oral-B (Great Britain).

These foreign companies not only financially support the teaching process but also help to hold various scientific conferences, to organize the courses for improving professional skills of stomatologists and dental technicians.

The History of KrasSMU Institute of Stomatology

The history of KrasSMU Institute of Stomatology began with the course of stomatology of the Hospital Surgery department (the head of the course was associate Professor Yu. I. Bernadsky). Yu. I. Bernadsky was a well-known outstanding scientist, Professor, Honoured Research Worker, organizer of the stomatological department of the Regional Clinical Hospital and its head in .

The Stomatologacal faculty at Krasnoyarsk State Medical Institute with the enrollment of 150 students was established in 1978, a docent of the course of stomatology at the department of Hospital Surgery A. A. Levenets being appointed its dean (). The Director of the Central Research Institute of Stomatology, academician of the USSR Academy of Medical Science A. I. Rybakov helped much in the foundation and organization of work at the stomatological faculty.In there were five joint expeditions of the Central Research Institute of Stomatology (CRIS) and Krasnoyarsk medical Institute into the study of dental morbidity of adult and children population in different regions of the Krasnoyarsky Territory and Khakasia.

In studies at the phantom preclinical course began. In the next academic year the Department of Stomatology (the head of department was docent A. A. Levenets) with the courses of Oral Surgery and Oral Therapy was founded. In three special departments were opened - the Department of Oral Surgery (= Dental Surgery = Operative Dentistry), the Department of Oral Therapy (= Preventive Dentistry) and the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry (= Prosthodontics = Oral Orthopaedics), the Department of Pedodontics (= Children's Dentistry).

In 1983 the Stomatological faculty made its first graduation.

In 1983 under the aegis of the World Health Organization (WHO) the first in the USSR International seminar with the participation of the doctors of Siberia and Far East "The Use of Epidemiologic Research for Planning Dental Aid and Prevention of Dental Morbidity" was held.

At present the enrollment for the specialty 'stomatology/dentistry' is 50 people.

In 1989 a stomatological polyclinic of KrasSMU was set up. Now it houses the Departments of Oral Therapy (= Preventive Dentistry), Prosthetic Dentistry (= Prosthodontics), Oral Surgery (= Dental Surgery = Operative Dentistry) and Maxillofacial Surgery, Propedeutics of Dental Diseases.
